"Ade what was that for?" Juliana asked as some of the glass peices had tore his palm and his right palm was bleeding.
Philip went back into the room and stared at his boss in shock. Seeing Juliana approaching him, Ade quickly wave his hand for her to give him some space
"Your hand is bleeding!" Juliana said in concerning voice and she turned to stare at Philip and some other guards that had rushed back into the private room as it was the second time the hotel alarm rang in their boss's room
"Call the doctor quickly," Philip instructed a bodyguard and the guard quickly left to bring the doctor stationed at their hotel in case of any emergency.
"Ade!," Juliana called his name to get his attention as he refused her approaching him.
"You can all leave am fine," Ade told them as they were crowdy in his private room
"No!" Juliana proof stubborn and he stared at her angrily, while the rest of the guards obeyed leaving only Philip and Juliana in the room.
"No, I mean, your hand is bleeding let me help you to check it," Juliana offered to help him.
"No!. You're not a doctor, am fine so leave," Ade pointed to the door and she stared back at him angrily, refusing to leave.
Ade stare at Philip and said, "Do your job and take her out."
"Ade!" Juliana called him by his first name and Philip wasn't surprised as he knew something was brewing between his boss and his secretary.
"Don't forget am still your boss!" Ade warned and she bit on her lower lips in anger still refusing to leave.
Mr Shola came in with the doctor as he also heard the alarm went on and it worried him as he was in a meeting with lot of new sponsors that want to work with his boss. He quickly rushed to Ade side seeing his hand bleeding, and he asked, "What's going on boss?!."
Juliana looked away from him as she wasn't the one to respond.
"Excuse me let me do my job," The doctor finally said breaking the silence as he was an elderly man. He quickly went to Ade's side and started doing his job, putting on a medicated gloves, he leaned closer and observe Ade right palm, seeing the glass peices, he offered anesthesia to Ade and did a quick removal of all the glass peices that had penetrated Ade's palm.
Ade ended up having his right palm bandaged as he had lost a lot of blood
"You all need to excuse him to rest, I have called on the hospital to get a sample of his blood, so we can administer some blood to him," The doctor Adewole Matthew told them.
"But doctor, would he be fine, Like will he be able to use his right hand?," Juliana asked in concern as she was still standing in the room.
"Off course, he just need some time to heal, so please excise him," Dr Adewole told her and she nodded and left, leaving Mr Shola and Philip with the doctor.
Ade laid on the bed due to the effect of the anesthesia given to him and he hadn't eaten so the doctor gave him some IV drip.
Later he was infused with blood as they also gave him some blood drip, after the doctor was thru attending to him, he left and the private room fell in silence, before Philip turned and left, while Ade drifted to sleep.
Mr Shola went out to question Philip as if anything were to happen to Ade, he was a dead man as he knew how important Ade was to his father, as Mr Williams Edmond had assigned him as Ade's personal assistant even though he was younger and of Ade's age with a little age difference.
"What happened to him?" Mr Shola asked Philip as he stepped out
"I don't know," Philip replied.
"Didn't you check the CCTV footage to find out?", Mr Shola questioned again.
"No I haven't, am just coming out from the room now with you so I haven't done that, he was the only one there and I don't think Juliana did anything to him," Philip said as he sighed
"I don't think boss is alright since last night he had an affair with the girl you brought into this hotel he hasn't been himself to my notice."
"What do you mean by that?. Are you trying to frame me or what?" Mr Shola asked as he stared at Philip angrily as they stood by the corridor leading to Ade's private room. The rest of the stationed guard pretended they weren't listening to Philip and Mr Shola conversation, even though their mind was there.
"Am not trying to frame you, am just stating what I saw from boss's behavioral traits," Philip replied
"Hmm..." Mr Shola sighed, "I haven't noticed anything yet and I don't think the girl did anything wrong to him, he just slept with her like the usual," Mr Shola said and Philip kept mute not wanting to gossip anymore about his boss
"Is alright, I hope he get better quick and get over with whatever that might be troubling him," Philip finally said and he walked away from Mr Shola while the rest of the guards followed him from behind. They stepped out into the large open office which was a receiving lounge on the fourth floor and also Juliana's office
Philip stared at her and she looked away as she was talking to a client whom stood beside her counter table.
Philip ignored her and went and sat on the long couch placed for visitors and clients on the fourth floor. While Mr Shola left and went back to his own office in the Entertainment building.
Ade later woke up at the middle of the night, his men knew not to inform anything about his health or wellbeing to his parent to avoid them from getting worried or having heart attack.
He sat up on his bed as the drip hasn't yet been removed from his left hands. He searched his room for his phone, not seeing where he kept it as his private room light was dimmed, he pressed on the alarm to invite the attendant into his room. To his surprise Juliana came in, she hadn't gone home yet he thought as he stared at the huge wall clock in his room which was past 11pm going to 12am sharp in the morning.
"Julie.." He hummed her name as their eyes meet. Soon his hotel attendant came in to pick his orders as he summoned for them.
He choose the food he wanted to eat and the attendant left him going out to take his orders, while Juliana walked to his bed to meet him.
She sat on the furniture chair beside his bed and Ade looked away from her. He knew she cared for him but he wasn't interested in settling with her.
"How are you feeling?" She asked him in a concerned voice and he looked to meet her gaze
"Am fine, thank you. Why haven't you gone home yet, it passed 6pm since and you are still here?" Ade questioned in a low voice as he was still weak from the pain and stress of the day
"I know, I couldn't leave you not when you haven't woken up since."
"Hmm.."" He didn't like the sound of that.
"Am fine now, so you don't have to worry," he told her.
"I know I can see that, but is already late, I wouldn't be leaving tonight I will go back home tomorrow after my work is over."
Ade turned to stare at her, not knowing what to say to her either as it was already very late for her to be going home by that time. He nodded and relaxed back on the bed, while the room fell in utmost silence.
