"Rena, this is the start of a new life, you are a brave and strong child, you have struggled too much, no one can stand such things, make the most of your new life, build a life that will only please you, don't let people judge you, this world's order is different, I'm sure your parents would have been proud of you," Rena clenched her fists as she felt a soothing circle of energy form around her body while the woman spoke.
"This is it, I'm glad I got to meet you, this is goodbye, and I wish you the best on your new journey," The woman stated before her body returned to normal.
While the girl's eyes were closed, she began to see flashes of a world before her eyes, and how some parts were beautiful while others were dark, some parts were powerful while others were not.
Not everything was perfect, nor everyone, but that didn't matter, while looking at the images a smiled appeared on her face and the woman saw as Rena's body lay back in the air and the woman fixed her hair and a crest appeared on the top of her right palm before a green dome formed around her body with lightning surrounding it and the woman smiled.
"May the Gods protect you from some of the horrors you may have to face, child," The woman said with a gentle smile.
Rena's body began to glow bright red, blue, and purple as a portal appeared before her, sucking her into it before closing and the woman vanished.
Rena had no idea where she was going as she travelled through timeless space, but whatever it was, she was ready for a brand new life and new adventures because she had none where she came from and wanted to make the most of her second chance, whatever it was.
Many hours and days had passed before Rena arrived in a new world.
Her arrival caused a storm, which other powerful beings in that world sensed but had no idea why little knowing that many changes were about to occur.
When she opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was the beautiful blue sky and sun shining down on her, but the light was very bright, so she lowered her gaze then stood up and wiped her eyes before reopening them again.
"Where am I?" She asked as she saw herself standing in a valley and there were weird types of animals passing by her, ones that she had never seen before.
[You have arrived in the world that was predestined for you.]
"Eh? Who is there?" She inquired as she looked around, but saw no one and tripped on her own feet, and tumbled down while screaming before gripping the ground, balancing herself, and standing back up.
[That was entertaining; I'm your system, master.]
"That was not fun, system? What?" She yelled and the system began chuckling as she stared at the ground.
'Am I still dreaming? Where is the....' She thought when she remembered what the woman had said to her and she exhaled deeply.
"I remember now, stop enjoying this, now what do I do?" Rena inquired as a screen-like image appeared in front of her and she looked at it.
She sighed as a map with a large red mark appeared on the screen while she was looking at it.
"Do you think that's where I am?" Rena inquired.
[Yes, it is; someone was supposed to collect you; that is all I know; additionally, I am a guiding system; I will be able to assist you with most things because you are new to this world; you can contact me at any time, master.]
Rena smiled as she heard the system say that, relieved that at least something was with her in the new and unfamiliar world she wanted to explore.
"Where is the person who is supposed to pick me up?" Rena asked, looking around and gripping her grumbling stomach.
[Master, you were sent here with a couple of dollars; there is a tavern down the valley; you can go there and get something to eat; you've been traveling for a while; that's why you're hungry; your body has used up a lot of your energy.]
"I see, but how will the individual find me?" She inquired as the screen in front of her vanished.
[Don't worry, they will; you need to eat, and I doubt this money will suffice; you require a lot of more food now.]
"I see, then I'll go," Rena mumbled as she began walking to the street beside the valley, heading to the nearby tavern which was just outside a village.
Rena became even hungrier as she walked, and she sighed when she finally arrived at the tavern, which she entered, and the people there looked at her as she approached the counter, and a waitress approached her.
"What are you going to order, ma'am?" She asked.
"Uh... What do you have?" Rena asked.
"Steak and other items, here is the menu," Rena sighed as the girl handed her a menu, which she collected before reaching into her pocket and pulling out a few silver coins.
"That will give you just a steak and a glass of juice," The girl said.
"Then that's more than enough; I'll take that, thank you," Rena said before handing the money to the girl, who smiled and then left to get Rena's order.
When the girl sat down by a table to wait for her food, her vision began to blur.
'What is going on?' She wondered.
"Don't worry, once you get used to the different air here, you'll be fine; your body is simply adjusting, it will take a few days for you to be back to normal but for now, eat and get your energy up," Rena's brow furrowed after hearing the system respond, normally.
"Oh, so you can speak normally?" She mumbled.
"Yes, I am speaking to you through your thoughts; it's one of the abilities I was given to communicate with you; it's easier and is known as thought communication," It replied, and Rena smiled as the girl brought her order.
