Chapter 41: Coin Tosser(2)
After the guard at the gate verified Aakesh's level, he allowed him to go forward. There were three rounds of security setup established around the portal, with the last round having each soldier above Level 25.
Aakesh felt a lot of pressure just by being there and enduring the guards' stares, so he was eager to get away.
The travel was expensive, so there weren't many people waiting in line. Aakesh's turn arrived soon. He then paid the required sum of eighty silver coins and stepped inside.
The portal was spherical, and a dreamy, light-like gate was there to welcome the travelers.
The experience was like walking, as when Aakesh stepped inside, his foot landed outside the portal in the Purple City.
The next moment, Aakesh felt chilled to his core as several stares came his way from the guards.
Aakesh wanted to leave as soon as possible, so he stepped forward. When Aakesh thought he had exited the area, a guard appeared in front of him and asked him to follow him.
The diary hadn't talked about the way of life in the Panagea, so everything was new for Aakesh, like other adventurers.
The guard left after informing Aakesh as if he didn't care whether Aakesh would follow him. Even though Aakesh thought like that, he didn't dare dilly dally and followed the guy.
The guard took Aakesh to a giant room on the left, where there were tens of tables and hundreds of people lined up in a straight line toward them. The guard told Aakesh to join one of the queues and then left the room, calling other newcomers to the city.
Aakesh did as told and joined the shortest queue, and around ten minutes later, his turn finally arrived.
Aakesh couldn't help but get surprised when he reached the table, as the man sitting on the other side wasn't a human but some kind of humanoid creature with red skin. Since Aakesh didn't know about the personality of the man, he didn't dare to gawk and moved his eyes right away.
"Show your status panel," The man didn't even look at Aakesh's face and ordered.
Aakesh nodded and activated his status panel, hiding the title, all his stats, and items.
The man only looked at the affiliated Kingdom section and then asked Aakesh to take it back.
"State your purpose for coming here," The man then asked.
It was like an airport as the officers asked the newcomers questions, and after Aakesh had satisfied the man's questions, the man smiled and welcomed Aakesh to the Purple City.
Aakesh already had a map of the coin in his mind, so he didn't need to ask for directions from others. But since it was late in the day on Earth, Aakesh decided to log out and return tomorrow to grab the coin.

The next moment, Aakesh appeared back in the pool of blue liquid as he opened his eyes.
When Aakesh stepped out of the device, he looked at the time and found it to be earlier than his usual exits in the past few days. Since the blue liquid kept all his bodily functions full at all times without any loss of energy, Aakesh wasn't physically tired, but the same wasn't the case for mental tiredness.
Today, Aakesh had cleared the dungeon too many times, and he could also feel his inability to kill slightly loosening. It didn't mean that he would be able to kill without his mental struggle, but he was slowly reaching the stage where he would be able to accomplish that.
It was earlier than his usual exit, but it was still late in the night, so Aakesh jumped on his bed with his phone.
Aakesh switched on the phone, and soon, a message from an unknown number greeted his sight. Aakesh's heart skipped a beat as it was Shachi's number.
On the notification counter, there was nothing but "Hi," so Aakesh had no choice but to tap on the instant messaging app icon. (You all know what it is.)
It was only one message, but it was long. It first asked Aakesh why he rudely cut the call, and second, it shared the meeting venue and time.
Aakesh's heart had started beating like a drum. Even though he didn't want to marry, he still was going on a date with a girl for it.
"Sorry for my rude behavior!"
"I will be there on time!"
Aakesh tapped these two messages and then sent them.
The message from Shachi seemed to have crossed the bearing limit of Aakesh, so he put his phone back and fell asleep right after.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
The sound of a song rang in the room, and soon after, Aakesh woke up.
Aakesh's face had an unusual smile on his face as the last night's dream was jolly. In the dream, the earth merged into Panagea, and when the army of the Radison Kingdom arrived to take control of the newly emerged territory, Aakesh welcomed them.
Aakesh's strength was like the coming of Gods as in front of him, the army looked like child's play. Aakesh defeated the army, and then he challenged the King and became the new King of the Radison Kingdom.
Time passed quickly, and after Aakesh showered and took a bath, he descended the stairs to the hall where his parents were waiting for him.
Aakesh first greeted his parents and then began eating the breakfast brought by the maid.
"Did you get the meeting venue and time?" The mother asked after the family had happily completed their breakfast.
Aakesh nodded and shared the information with his parents. Since he was in a good mood due to the dream, he didn't get irritated by his mother bringing up Shachi.
"You look happier," A smile spread around the mother's face, and she asked after seeing Aakesh.
Since Manish's death, there had been no smiling faces in the house, so now when Aakesh seemed happy, it made the mother genuinely delighted.
Aakesh told his parents about the dream, but what happened in it was entirely different from what he saw.
The mother intently listened, while the father got bored, so he began to read today's news on his phone.
