Chapter 35: Dungeon Vanquisher I!

[You have gained 150 XP!]

[Level up!]

[Adventurer, congratulations on unlocking the title "Dungeon Vanquisher I"!]

The female voice rang in Aakesh's ear as his blade cut the werewolf, rendering him victorious.

Aakesh's eyes were cold, unlike ever before, as he looked at the werewolf exploding into the light.

Aakesh ignored the item that appeared soon after it and rushed toward the altar. When he realized that none of the eleven men bound to the altar were still alive, a tinge of sadness crept into his heart.

[Adventurer, congratulation on becoming the first person to clear tough-level difficulty in a low-level dungeon!]

[Do you want to reveal this knowledge?

Yes

No]

[If you choose yes, you will be rewarded with one gold coin and one rare level weapon of your choice!]

Aakesh heard a couple of alerts ringing in his head.

The Hunting Ground was an entry-level dungeon, and every town in Panagea had it for players below Level 5. The real challenge began with dungeons that had the word "level" attached to them.

Dungeons that could accommodate players up to Level 50 were titled "low-level dungeons" in Panagea.

Aakesh didn't think about the notification but looked at the bodies of the eleven men. He felt nauseous while looking at it, but he persisted as it was showing him the actual reality of this world.

For someone like him, who had his brother's future knowledge with him, it was either kill or get killed. Aakesh vowed at that time to prepare himself to kill, or he would die due to that weakness one day, failing his brother.

Aakesh then finally focused on the window in front of him. The reward this time was high, but without even blinking, Aakesh tapped on No.

A rare level weapon cost a few gold coins, but Aakesh didn't care. He couldn't reveal himself to the public until he had a stable footing in the real world.

Aakesh could also feel the diary calling to him as if passing Level 10 had unlocked some future knowledge.

Aakesh didn't check it right away, as he was in the dungeon. His eyes then fell on the shining item in the midst of numerous cracks in the ground.

Aakesh stepped forward and slowly picked up the item from the ground. The shine dimmed as the actual item presented itself.

The cracks in the altar began to spread at an unprecedented rate, and the dungeon started to tremble.

Aakesh could feel that he would be buried beneath stones if he stood here longer, so he thought of exiting the dungeon. The next moment, a white light covered him. When it vanished, Aakesh vanished as well, while the altar shattered into smithereens, destroying the entire room.

When the light returned to Aakesh's eyes, he found himself outside the dungeon.

Aakesh couldn't help but look dumbfounded as the entire dungeon was shaking from the outside. The officer immediately looked at Aakesh. If not for his quick eyes, he would have missed Aakesh putting the item in his hands inside his bag.

The shaking didn't continue for long, and it soon stabilized. Aakesh silently left the area before others noticed him behind the sudden dungeon situation.

Aakesh hurriedly left for a quiet area to check what he had gotten, and there was also the diary.

After Aakesh felt that no one would be able to disturb him there, he took the item out of his bag.

It was a silver sword with a faint reddish tinge around its edges.

Aakesh activated the basic appraisal skill, and soon, its details appeared on a screen.

Silver Sword(Ordinary rank)

Description: A finely crafted sword made of silver, said to be effective against the werewolf and other shape-shifting creatures

Equipment Level: 10

Requirement: Any Sword Style, Strength: 15, Agility: 20

Damage: 25-30

Speed: 11

Durability: 75/75

Additional Skill: [Lunar Strike]

Description: channeling the power of the moon and imbuing their weapon with lunar energy. The attack deals an additional 25% weapon damage and stuns the target for 2 seconds.

Duration: N/A

Cooldown: 8 Seconds

Cost: 50 MP

Aakesh couldn't help but gawk at the screen in front of him. Even though the sword was only an item of ordinary rank, it was still at the peak of that. His weapon, Shadow Blade, wasn't even close to the value of the sword.

The skill attached to the weapon was also valuable, as it had the additional property of stunning the target for two seconds on top of the extra 25% damage. At the same time, it had a cooldown of only 8 seconds, and if not for the high mana cost, the skill would be worth more than the value of the sword.

Aakesh looked at the cracks on his weapon and immediately decided to change to the Silver Sword. If he had it with him before the dungeon, Aakesh wouldn't have fought so long for victory with the boss werewolf.

After the sword, Aakesh summoned the diary since he wanted to see what knowledge was waiting for him this time.

The next moment, Aakesh couldn't help but smile wryly as his remaining MP wasn't enough to open the diary.

Since there was still time before Aakesh would gather two hundred MP, he decided to check his status panel.

Achieving Level 10 was like a sublimation of life, as players not only got four free attribute points but also two points in each attribute as a gift from the system.
