Even though Aakesh only succeeded in capturing one cub and met only one-third of the mission's requirements, the reward was still substantial. He gained 500 XP, which resulted in him leveling up twice. He wasn't Level 1 anymore, but Level 3.

Aakesh looked at his status panel after he used the newly acquired eight free attribute points.

He added three to his strength and four to his agility out of the eight. He saved the remaining one point for the future.

Earlier, Aakesh had decided to put three into both strength and agility and save two points, but when he thought about it, he decided to increase his agility further.

Agility helped him a lot in the battle with the wolves. Even though it was one-sided due to his high attributes, it still showed the value of high agility to Aakesh. If not for it, he wouldn't have been so easily able to dodge the wolf's pounce every time.

Adding points to strength and agility changed his other attributes as well. His physical attack power grew from 16 to 21; his defense from 20 to 22; his attack speed from 16 to 22; and his movement speed from 18 to 22.

Aakesh then thought of the status screen disappearing since he had already seen the change.

Aakesh was currently standing in front of the town hall, in a dilemma about what to do next.

The attributes he had would have allowed his level to increase like a rocket, but his heart acted as his weakness. The best way to gain XP at this time was from hunting or hunting quests, but unfortunately for Aakesh, he couldn't bring himself to kill the beasts.

Aakesh knew that the world of Panagea was real, so lives here were real as well. Even on earth, he didn't like the killing of animals for food. But like other humans, he was also hypocritical. He ate meat since he liked its taste.

Aakesh didn't hate himself for that since in his heart the killing of the goat didn't happen in front of his eyes. A similar case played out here. If others did it, he would only sympathize but do nothing. But if he had to do that, he wouldn't be able to do it.

Aakesh didn't know what would happen in the future, but the present went against what he wanted to do.

Since there were other ways to gain XP, Aakesh's heart wasn't in emergency mode due to his inability to kill.

Aakesh then chose a direction and left that way since the original inhabitants of Panagea also gave quests to adventurers.

Time flew by, and several hours passed in the blink of an eye.

It had been around twenty hours since Aakesh entered the world of Myth Online. It was only the time in the game world; only ten hours had passed on earth.

Aakesh decided to leave the game world and return to reality since he couldn't forget about the earth in his pursuit of power in Panagea.

But before leaving, he called his status panel one last time to check before he left Panagea.

The next moment, the blue screen containing his details appeared in front of him.

Level: Level 4

Aakesh only focused on his level and free attribute points. His level had further increased from Level 3 to Level 4, and he now had six attribute points.

Aakesh decided to save them and use them later in the future since the items he had with him gave him an edge over other adventurers. There was no need for them, and who knows what attribute might suddenly need an extra raise.

Even though Aakesh couldn't hunt, he still gained XP at a higher rate than the average adventurer in Panagea. He was a software engineer before quitting, so he knew hard work.

Even though it was physically demanding work, Aakesh completed various quests incredibly quickly thanks to his high attributes, which allowed him to earn more XP.

It was also one of the reasons Aakesh was departing Panagea so early. He was feeling mentally tired after so much work. The other reason was that he wanted to check on his parents. His father would have come home from work at this time, so he wanted to make sure that his parents were also entering this world.

'LogOut!' Aakesh thought in his mind, and soon after, a mixture of different light dots covered him.

There was a sudden movement in the liquid inside the virtual device as Aakesh logged out from the game.

Hua!

The hatch opened with a sound as Aakesh stepped out of the liquid.

Aakesh had been in the liquid for more than ten hours now, and yet not one part of his body was wet. At the same time, he felt the same as he had when entering the virtual device.

A/N: What are your views regarding the dilemma of not killing in Aakesh's head?

Of course, he will change since the name of the volume is "First Kill" in the first place.
