Chapter 16: Return!

After engaging in playful conversation with the teenagers, Aakesh made his way back to his home with a smile.

After unlocking the door, Aakesh entered the house. When he reached the hall, he could see his parents and the maid sitting on the sofa and having some samosas.

Aakesh didn't disturb them and proceeded toward his room on the upper floor.

[Welcome, Player Ikshvaku!]

The gentle female voice rang in the device as Aakesh unlocked the hatch using his fingerprints. DNA scan was only needed at the time of setting up the profile, so now Aakesh only needed his fingerprint to activate the device.

The familiar pool of blue liquid welcomed Aakesh's sight as he entered the device. Without wasting any time, Aakesh stripped naked and placed his clothes on the small counter near the pool.

Aakesh then stepped on the liquid and closed his eyes.

In no time, Aakesh's body fell into a deep sleep, and when he opened his eyes, he found himself in the last spot he had left before leaving the game.

Even though Aakesh was feeling better than before, he was still unable to bring himself to kill others.

While bantering with the teenagers, Aakesh remembered something significant he had ignored in his previous hours in the game world.

Similar to adventurers, the dungeon would spawn creatures after every entry.

Aakesh wasn't sure whether the system behind the dungeon replaced the creature or revived it like adventurers. But Aakesh didn't need to know it. Only the unknown was better for him.

In dungeons, he could kill creatures like he ate meat, despite not liking to kill animals.

Aakesh had read about dungeons on the internet, but in a hurry or for other reasons, he had forgotten about it. The teenagers helped him remember it.

Now that Aakesh had returned to Panagea after several minutes, he needed to find information about dungeons. The information wasn't hidden, but it wasn't known to everyone either.

As for where to find it, Aakesh already knew it.

Aakesh stood in front of the town hall. The majority of the stuff related to leveling up had to do with this place, so the information about the dungeons would also be available here.

Several minutes later, Aakesh came out of the town hall with the needed information.

The Wolf Town had three dungeons. All three of them were related to Silver Wolves.

The nearest dungeon to the town was a few miles away from the borders, and it was also the only one suitable for Aakesh since it only allowed adventurers below Level 5 to enter.

Aakesh didn't think about the other two dungeons since he was still far from the minimum entry requirement.

"Need a Level 5 adventurer!"

"Need two Level 5 adventurers!"

Since the game had no class for users below Level 10, the requirements for a team to enter dungeons were simple. It was only a level condition.

The dungeon Aakesh chose as his destination was called "Hunting Ground." The name made sense since it was a leveling ground for low-level adventurers.

The dungeon had three difficulty levels; easy, normal, and tough, with easy being the lowest difficulty and tough being the most challenging.

As there were three levels of difficulty, the entry conditions were also different for them.

Only a three-man team could enter the easy level dungeon, for the normal level, the team grew to five people, while for the tough difficulty, a maximum of seven people could enter the dungeon in a team.

Aakesh didn't feel that he needed teammates with the attributes he had, so he ignored the teams asking for members and decided to enter it alone.

Still, Aakesh didn't know the full extent of his strength, so he started with the easy level.

Entering the dungeon was easy. Once the adventurer was within a range of a hundred meters around the dungeon, they only needed to think about entering.

But stepping into the hundred-meter range wasn't easy, as hundreds of players had crowded the area around the dungeon. To keep things peaceful, the town sent one of its own officers to control the unruly crowd.

The officer sent by the town was Level 15, so no adventurer dared make a ruckus in front of him.

The death penalty for adventures below Level 10 was very high. For a single death, the adventurer would be logged out for half an hour. For the second death of the day, the duration would grow to one hour. As for the third death, the adventurer would be logged out for the remaining hours.

A team was entering and exiting the dungeon at any time, so it didn't take long for Aakesh's turn to arrive.

"Where is your team?" The officer asked Aakesh after his turn arrived.

Aakesh said, smiling, "I am alone."

The officer didn't say anything and let Aakesh enter the hundred-meter range. Aakesh wasn't the first adventurer who wanted to enter the dungeon alone, so the officer soon forgot about him.

"Enter easy-level difficulty!" Aakesh muttered as he entered the hundred-meter range. The next moment, a white light covered him. It disappeared as quickly as it had arrived, and with it, Aakesh also vanished.

The next moment, Aakesh found himself in a grass field, with a large dense jungle standing in front of him.

Aakesh didn't feel surprised since this information was available in the dungeon's information.

Since Aakesh had only chosen easy-level difficulty, he didn't worry about the silver wolves and entered the jungle. His steps were stable and cautious.

Growl! Growl! Growl!

Aakesh had only stepped in when he heard growls aimed at him. Aakesh looked ahead, only to see three mature wolves staring daggers at him, with a large amount of drool coming off their mouths.

Seeing that the wolves' levels were floating in a dense red color above them, Aakesh didn't need to activate his basic appraisal ability.

All three of them were Level 2 wolves.

The wolves looked at each other and then suddenly pounced on Aakesh as if they had already decided their tactics.

Aakesh didn't grow overconfident due to his high attributes and focused on the wolf closest to him.

The body reaction speed in the game was similar to what Aakesh had in reality. As the wolf was about to close on Aakesh, he suddenly stretched his right hand and grabbed the wolf's mouth using his bare hands.

Before Aakesh could do anything, the other two wolves also reached Aakesh. Aakesh didn't make any wasteful movements as he swung the wolf with force.

Aakesh moved as naturally as if he were swinging a cotton stick rather than a full-grown wolf.
