ELENA
"This is the rightful place of this ring, Elena. If you don't like the design then we can always get one of your choices.
But I will not appreciate it if you forget it anywhere like this again. It should always be here, on your finger!"
My face scrunched up in disgust as I glared up at him.
"You are ridiculous, Devon! I hate you!" I spat, not holding back anymore.
But the very next moment, my face contorted in pain as he squeezed my hand forcefully. His face lit up in a sinister light with a cunning grin playing on his lips.
"My sweet sweet Elena! Haven't you learned that you shouldn't say such things to your fiancee?
Do you want me to teach you some manners? I will be honoured and pleased!"
My chest shuddered as it moved down.
"You... you are hurting me." I tried to wiggle my hand from his grip, but his fingers were like an iron clasp.
"Now you know how it feels when you say such hurtful things to me."
