ELENA
This night couldn't be more dramatic than this. We left the hotel on time, but unfortunately, we faced a traffic jam on the way because of an accident.
The road was jammed with cars, and there was no way to take a U-turn or another alternative way. Jeremy looked quite nervous while he kept updating Mason about our location.
The clock was ticking fast. Mason informed me that the function was already started.
I began to lose hope, but Jeremy kept telling me that he would not disappoint his Boss and would take me to the venue on time.
Joanna looked quite nervous besides me but kept assuring me that we would make it. By the time, our car reached the venue, we received strange looks from the security and the volunteers.
As soon as I stepped out of the car, a boy came running saying they had already announced my name. I almost sprinted to the entrance while managing to not fall face-first in those heels.
