DEVON
I was at my penthouse, standing in front of the mirror while scuffling with the shoe laces, something I always found problematic. I didn't understand why Christine had to choose the shoes with laces when she knew how I struggled with tying them.
I had a Youtube tutorial playing on the phone in front of me at 0.50x speed while I repeated the procedure shown in the video.
After finally getting done with that tedious task, I stood up and reached for the cream-coloured blazer, that I wore over the same-coloured shirt.
I didn't like how Christine imagined me as a fallen cupid and had me dressed in all cream-coloured clothes.
I would have picked black or grey anytime over such bright colour. But her argument that it matched Elena's dress shut me up instantly.
I wouldn't have allowed myself to look like a vanilla ice cream if it was not for Elena!
