Hannah's eyes shifted to Devon and Victor as she said, "Let me tell you a story because Victor Sanders also has a big role in it."
Devon tensed, but he didn't know what was going to come out of that woman's mouth. Nonetheless, he was curious to know the mysteries from the past that Elena and his father had hidden from him or did they even know those mysteries.
"Our mothers were good friends and colleagues at TGF. Harper Bell was this ambitious woman with zeal for her beliefs. They used to bring their daughters, me and Elena to the office sometimes.
Elena liked to boss around the way she does even now while I was this timid and shy girl who listened to everything that Elena said."
Fragments of memories flashed in front of Elena's eyes. But those memories were rusted and blurred as she never found them important enough to store them well.
But Hannah seemed to be so close to those memories that when she spoke, it felt like she was reliving those memories in her head.
