ELENA
I had no idea how I got back to the villa in that state where my mind was about to explode with anger, and my heart was shrinking with every minute of hurt.
I was sitting on the couch in the living room when I heard Fredrick opening the front door before hurried footsteps entered inside.
I had no will to lift my head up and look at the person who was approaching me fast as I sat holding my head in my hands.
A pair of black shoes came into my view, and the anger that was surging inside me bubbled dangerously.
"What the fuck is this?" Devon roared, worsening my headache.
I clenched my eyes shut, sucking a deep breath.
"I am asking you something damn it! How dare you come back by your own without any bodyguards or a family member?"
I finally looked up to see him glaring down at me. He was angry, but there was something more that I couldn't yet point out. Nor I was in a state of mind to take those efforts.
