I sat beside the bed, watching Elena's sleeping form. Her face was slightly red, but her heart was beating normally. If it wasn't for my father-in-law telling me to follow Elena, then I might not have been able to catch her before she passed out.
I carried her into one of the rooms in the hospital, and her dad informed Jimmy about her. He checked her and said, there was nothing to worry about. She must be shocked extremely, and the bright sunlight made her faint.
My father-in-law must have sensed that something was off between me and Elena because he left me alone with her saying he would like to be in Mr Ortiz's room in case that man dared to come back.
