I kept replaying dad's words in my head all day. I headed to the villa with George. I was on my way to my bedroom when I heard some sounds coming from the kitchen.
Is that Fredrick? I thought, recognising the voice as I made my way to the kitchen. As far as I knew, Madison and Victor must be either at the hospital or at the office. Mason and Devon were at the office, and aunt Julianne had to meet a friend over dinner.
That left only me at the villa and...
"Uncle Joseph?"
My voice caught the attention of both men, and they turned to face me. I saw Fredrick holding a glass of some liquid while uncle Joseph looked completely wasted with bloodshot eyes and his face flushed, his eyes shifty.
I slowly walked inside the kitchen. All anger drained from uncle Joseph's face as he smiled at me.
"E-Elennaaa... come come welcome back home!" He slurred with his words.
