It had been four days since we moved into the Sanders' villa. And though we came here to support the family, the family in question barely sat together even once.
Devon asked Fredrick to bring our meals to our bedroom, where we ate together. I asked him to join others in the dining room downstairs, but he said there was no need.
Fredrick told me that Devon's actions were riling up the tension between him and his parents, especially his father, as everyone in the family had a few strict rules to follow.
Even Mason was not allowed to eat his meals in his rooms and had to sit down with everyone else at the dining table.
My work kept me busy, and so far, I liked the change of the location and the system of work. But though most of my day went busy with work and nights with Devon, I couldn't help but think about the crumpled note stuffed in one of my bags.
