ELENA
George's face paled at Devon's rude remarks as he rushed to the driver's seat while mumbling apologies.
I just rolled my eyes at Devon and got inside the car, beside him. As soon as I closed the door, his hand found my shoulder to pull me close to him. But I swatted his hand away, giving him a hard glare.
His scowl deepened. He pressed a button to his side, and a screen descended, separating George and us, and also our voices.
"What? Now you don't find your husband interesting?"
I slapped him on the chest, glaring at him. "Shut up, Devon! I know you are jealous because I was laughing wth George. Stop acting like a caveman!"
Devon and his possessiveness, both would be the death of me one day!
I turned my head away from him, but before my eyes settled on the cityscape outside, Devon's hand grabbed the hair on the back of my head to turn it to face him.
I exhaled an angry breath and refused to open my eyes. But it only infuriated him more.
