ELENA
After receiving a warm welcome and being done with introductions, I was led to my cabin. And boy, it was large!
The spacious room was double the size of my previous cabin, with soft cream-coloured walls complemented with dark brown furniture.
My chair was bigger and more comfortable, with a large desk in front of me. There were a few photo frames hanging on the wall, but I didn't like the old pictures in them.
I was admiring my new working space when I heard a knock on the door. I straightened up in my chair and said in a clear voice. "Come in."
A man entered inside with a smiling face, and I tried to put a name on him but failed as I greeted more than fifty or so people, and I forgot their names.
I didn't want to say the wrong name and embarrass myself, so I decided to not address him by his name.
"Mam, how do you like your cabin?" He asked politely.
I smiled. "It is very good. Thank you!"
