ELENA
The moment I stepped out of the Athens International Airport, the revivified air blasted straight on my face, and I couldn't tone down my smile.
"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! We are here! We are here, Devon! Look how beautiful it is!!" I gushed, bouncing on the heels of my feet.
But the deadpanned response from Devon killed my mood. "You are staring at the parking lot Mrs Sanders."
I glared at him, pursing my lips till they disappeared from his sight.
"You are such a grinch, Mr Sanders!" I stuck my tongue out at him while he left me to myself and pushed the trolley of our luggage to where a white car was waiting for us.
I decided to not heed any mind to that low-spirited person and enjoy myself because how many of us see the dream of a holiday in Greece?
Soooo many of us!
And how many actually get a chance to do so?
Veeerrryyyy few!
And I was the luckiest to get that chance, and I had no intention of wasting it on my grumpy husband.
