If I say that I was living the best time of my life, then that would be an understatement. The day Devon declared the date of the wedding, the clock began to run two times faster.
Everyone was pushed into working mode and had their responsibilities ready. Devon had already given the charge of all the preparations to Christine's hands, who still couldn't believe that her stone-hearted, arrogant boss was indeed going to get married.
She was so exhilarated about the whole thing that it was infectious. Dad refused to rest and was actively participating in the preparations.
Poor Steve now had to work on three fronts in addition to his own. He had to fill up the mine and Joanna's absence in the office and also help in the wedding preparations.
