All the stress from the day flew away when I watched Devon smiling ear to ear at me. It felt magical to be with this man, and I had no explanation for why.
However, I didn't want to find that answer. I was not in a hurry. I wanted to take all the time in the world to discover him, to discover us!
His face moved down at me more and more, and when his breath hit my face, I came back to my sensations.
"I am hungry." I immediately blurted out, making him stop in his way.
He looked at me in surprise, his brows shot up.
"Hungry? Didn't I fed you a week's food before we left Swindon?"
I frowned, pushing him back. I caught him off guard, and this time he moved.
"We are not even married yet, and you are already complaining about my hunger?
Are you so low on money that you can't feed your fiancee whenever she needs it?" I sighed in a dramatic way.
Devon rubbed his face, irritated by me. Yet he stood up nonetheless, grumbling lowly. "I will fix you something."
