I looked up at Devon to see him looking back at me with some incomprehensible emotions. When he looked away to the men in black suits, I noted that there were many such men standing around the property as if they were guarding it.
"Welcome home, Sir! Should I inform everyone about your arrival?" A man asked in a polite tone.
Home? I blinked.
So this was that famous Sanders' villa that made headlines in gossip magazines every other week?
And it was Devon's home!
I gulped.
"No need. And don't say that I am home because this is not MY home!"
I felt bad for the man as he cringed at Devon's rude tone. I tugged at Devon's hand lightly, but he ignored it and began to guide me to the entrance.
I didn't miss how the men standing around gave weird looks. And I didn't blame them at all.
In a maroon office shirt and black high-waist pants with unruly burgundy hair, and bandages at places, I clearly looked the odd one out.
