Spending time with Devon was both comforting and infuriating. His cold-hot mood swings- worse than PMS according to Christine- always made me feel like I was walking on eggshells.
And yet I craved more of that time with him. And now, alone in his room in his arms, I felt... complete.
It always confused me how he was everything that I didn't want in my man except his masculine beauty of course. And yet he was everything that I needed and wished for!
"Whose call was that?" I didn't know why I took that liberty of asking him about something personal though I was sure he would have demanded the same question if he was in my place.
"It was aunt Julianne." He said.
He didn't sound annoyed by my question, but he didn't provide more explanation.
'Try to learn more about him, Elena. You are going to marry him for God's sake!', Joanna's voice rang in my head from our conversation the other day.
