Charl walked inside her office , placed her purse on a table and sighed before dwelling onto her personal computer, she had a lot to do ever since she decided to be serious with the Hotels and restaurants she manages.
Her heart freezes whenever she opens the PC since it holds the picture of her and Olivia as a wallpaper . Olivia stranded her neck making her face look chuby , it was a crazy picture they took four years ago.
This has always reminded that she had someone that treasured her the most in life , but it is a year now and there was nothing new than the news of her friend not found.
Everybody seemed to be giving up on finding Olivia , it's been a year and with the connection Cooper's family had, they could have traced her anywhere but that was not the case since nothing gave a clue about her , anywhere around the world.
The most trusted sources of Cooper's family failed and only hope survived in their heart . Not a day passed Charl blamed William since the day she lost her best friend but as it went down , she became silent , non social , cold and great hatred toward her brother wielded itself within her .
Charl used most of her time in the office , her secretary would bring her coffee for the breakfast and lunch whenever she feel like having food .
" Miss Charl , Parker Claude is here " a young blonde woman said after walking inside her office .
Charl threw a questioning look and the girl cleared her throat , " i knocked but you were so busy ma'am " . She excused herself knowing how much her boss hated being interrupted.
" It's okay Jane , let him in " Charl spoke before going back to her own business . After a short while a man went in , pulled a seat giving his best smile .
" You seem to be in good mood today " the man voiced and Charl threw the annoying look . " Let's get over it Mr.Claude " , a sigh came from Parker as she intertwined her fingers on the table . " Seems like i was wrong , bad mood i guess " he spoke looking at her intently.
" Well ..uumh... like i proposed to you ... " . " I refuse Mr. Claude , i don't want to be your partner , thanks for the offer but i can manage my business well as much as you can see " his sentence was cut short with her cold reply and he scoffed .
Before him was a woman he dreams to work with , he has been pestering her for six months now for them to be business partner but she always gave him a cold shoulder claiming to be okay by herself .
" Being egoistic won't help you in any way better rather than bring a down fall Miss Charlotte " he spoke his mind and whatever he said was a hell truth but she would rather accept that in a sarcastic way than a lesson from a man.
" Are you saying i can't do it without you Parker?" she questioned and he leaned forward. " What am saying is , this is business that you try to manage so hard all by yourself but as i said it's business ....., you aren't going anywhere if you don't join it's game , you've got to know and understand it's fairness when it's unfair and unfairness when it's fair , you've got to know how kind and greed people can be , you've got to know what sneeky and fair way people take to be where you dream to be Charl , .....all by yourself " he said raising his eyebrow.
A scoff from her then a small laugh escaped from her lips before she stood and walked to his side , sat on the table beside him crossing her arms on a chest then gave him a gaze that explained nothing but ego in them , this woman became blazed.
" Well i am in the game Parker Claude , here i am playing with you for six month . Don't you think it's unfair for you to pester and pressure me just to be your business partner and yet so fair for me to still allow you into my building , my office inshort my business, just to listen the same melody you have been playing for the fucking six month .
"Here we are , you trying your sneeky ways through a business for your personal gain because if i check well , any man getting close to me tends to go viral and raise his name famously for business ..... and then am still being fair to try and see what good does your business offer to me and i see none by so i refuse your offer ".
" Am still high on my ground because of myself , am here where most dream to be by myself , nobody was there to back me up not even you , and my dear , ego is most powerful weapon when it comes to business , use it and see ..... now get out of my office " she finished her heart words by opening the door for him giving a serious look .
Parker stood up composed himself before walking out of the office.
" Foolish man " she exclaimed before shutting the door , sat scratching her forehead , it was kinda hard to deal with mens . Ever since she started her business , it was doing good and most men wanted to be close to her for their own personal gains and she didn't want any of them .
Her day was off just like that since she picked up her purse and walked out , that bastard just found a perfect time to destroy her day .
As she walked out , her eyes darted a certain position just in action of a normal functioning eyes and saw Jared with kehlan .
" Can't believe how awful my day can be , is that bitch in my hotel ?" she mumbled before walking to them . She just couldn't let her be in here , there a lot of hotels , so she better walk out of here .
" Well , all i wanted to ask of you is to leave Willy alone , spare his properties for God's sake , what do you want ?" Kehlan exclaimed rolling her eyes and Jared scoffed .
He knew this woman very well just by his instincts and looks , she was after money , power and not love . He just couldn't believe she was asking him to spare properties while she's a villain in the story of it's loss from William .
If it was not for her , maybe Olivia would still be around , she was the reason Livia suffered for first days of her marriage and lastly when she dissapered . This woman was so vicious and here she was still trying to fight for Properties that don't belong to William yet.
" Well ..." , " Whom do i have in here ?" a sarcatic voice cut off whatever sentence Jared was trying to make before his eyes darted toward Charlotte .
" Fuck " Kehlan's curse came as a whisper but so loud for the earful Charl , " Exactly , Fuck ... out....of .... my ...hotel " Charl spoke pulling a seat beside them .
" As a customer i have every right to be in any hotel , i wish to be , it's a free nation honey " Kehl excused herself and a sarcastic laugh came this time from Charl . " Well am sorry Miss Atlas but i have every right to exclude your services from this hotel because i don't entertain Humiliaters , more over.... blood suckers " .
Kehlan's fist tightened after the insult and a smirk made it's way on Jared's face .
" And beware of what you speak Miss Atlas because people are taking a close look , maybe thinking what does a whore discuss with Copper's highly ranked siblings " Charl said cutting her off once again.
With that it shut whatever Kehlan wanted to speak about because she couldn't afford to make a scene in there .
" If i were you , i would quietly leave this place with the best fake smile as much as you can master before i do the unnecessary " Charl insisted raising her eyebrow and Kehlan gulped , grabbing her purse then walked out .
" Mmh " Jared cleared his throat but a killing gaze awaited his face up , " As for you cuzzo , don't bitch so freely around her if you still want to be my favourate but if not I'll be your guest " she said standing up , walked few steps foward before turning back to him .
" And make sure to never step here with her again other wise you're not welcomed either " a smile this time was plastered on her face then walked out too .
" Understood " he mumbled in a low voice after a grasp of air , Charl changed and he wouldn't want to take a risk of irritating her any where .

Emma walked slowly as his body guard rushed to open the car's door for her , when suddenly a man ran before her making her steps frozen.
" Peter !!" she said as she quite taken by his presence.
" Am sorry Emma but would you mind having Lunch together ?" he spoke trying to catch his breath and Emma nodded her head after a while , with how suddenly he appeared before her , it's a serious issue to be discussed then .
" Thanks Miss Carter " he voiced , " After you " she said and Peter walked to his car , opened the door for her before she vooped inside .
He smiled while walking to the other side of the car , taking a honour of driving her to the hotel or maybe a restaurant.
This was the last but not the least hope for saving William from the crisis they are facing . This business agreement with her has to stay intact and then they have to find the last key to their mission , Olivia .
