"Blake…" Marissa tried to stop Blake from entering the house, "I'm sorry, okay?"
Blake narrowed his eyes. "I told you, let me know immediately if that woman comes looking for you."
"I can handle her," she said, attempting to justify her decision not to inform Blake about Zelda.
"And what if something happened?" Blake ran a hand through his hair in frustration. "Tell me what she wants."
Marissa bit her lip and glanced down for a moment before responding, "Well, she wants to apologise. I suppose Mom asked her to meet me."
Blake scoffed, "Apologise? Seriously?" He tried his best to calm his anger. "Next time, if she ever comes again," he paused, "no, I will make sure there won't be a next time." He walked out, but Marissa quickly grabbed him.
"Blake…" Marissa's forehead wrinkled, "please…"
