"I'm out. You guys can continue this journey on your own." Melvin declared as he angrily strode out of the room.
"Melvin! Wait!" Anna called after him, trailing closely behind.
I glanced around and saw the look of doubt on everyone's faces.
"I won't stop anyone who wishes to stay, but if you choose to leave, then we depart in five minutes," I announced, giving everyone a choice.
While I understood Melvin's concern, sitting idle wasn't going to help us get out of this game alive.
The only way out of here was to get stronger and to do that, we had to keep completing missions. Otherwise, we would end up being easy prey for the top one thousand players, just like Melvin had pointed out earlier.
