Rebirth of the Ember
Geldal was a mere captain of the Avior Kingdom, or at least he used to be. After encountering an opportunity after almost dying in a war against the army of undead, he rose through the ranks and managed to become a member of the hero party.
They fought, slept, wandered, and laughed together for 20 years in a land filled with the stench of rotten corpses. They managed to survive due to all of their strengths, but especially the revered hero, Arkhan. Arkhan was what you call the perfect hero. He was very, very strong even when compared to Geldal. Arkhan the Hero, Farlan the Sage, Ruth the Holy, and Geldal the Fiery, all supported each other and managed to reach the Death Incarnation.
However, when Edmund and Farlan were injured, they all were ambushed by the rotten corpses of the Death Incarnation. Knowing that if anyone other than him dies, it will be impossible to kill the Death Incarnation, Geldal burned his body away to fight off the army of corpses.
All he remembered of his fellow travelers were the shocked face of Arkhan, the frustrated look of Farlan, and the sobbing face of Ruth. He thought that his body was already burned to nothingness and his soul was already gone because of the fire he surged out in his final moments.
However, fate plays an unexpected move on him. He wakes up from what felt like a very, very long slumber as a baby in a cave.
"Have they killed the Death Incarnation?" was the first thought that comes to his mind. "No, more important than that, are they still alive?"," Or am I going to die again? But this time in vain?". Geldal was then picked up by a woman with leather armor on her. "What is a baby doing here?" she muttered as she picked him up and decided to take care of him. Geldal grew up and found out that the Death Incarnation has been slain, but other Incarnations have also woken up and the hero party went missing. Muren, with the memories of Geldal the Fiery, has now decided to embark on his second journey to find his fellow friends and to slay the Incarnations.
