After a grueling investigation as well as passing through a large storm, the cargo ship that Cyclone White had ride on are now safe from any harm. The man responsible for such suspicious activity, Hariken Shiro was apprehended by White and Blanc. It was then one days until they reach the port of Violet Empire.
"What are you planning to do with all of these cargo?" Blanc asked Shiro who was tied on a chair in their quarter.
"I'm selling it of course. It would be a wise thing to sell off all of these valuable for me alone."
White then asked, "How were you able to afford a ship? Are you really a nobleman, Shiro?"
"You think a nobleman could beat you down like that?"
White was annoyed as he was previously beaten by him until Blanc helped out during their first encounter.
"I'm not a nobleman. That's just an act." He clarified. "My line of work around this place is actually looking for deep pockets."
"So you're a theif?" Blanc said in an uninterested tone.
"I am not a thief. I am a rogue." He corrected.
"There's no difference, then." She shrugged. "It's a good thing my fellow quarter mate here lets you live instead of walking you down the plank."
"I would rather jump down if its the only way of escaping here."
White then told him, "Well you won't survive the sea. You don't know how to swim."
"Uhh...How do you know that..." Shiro got nervous.
Of course, White knew that because he still remember Shiro from the real world. He knew him enough to know what his strength and weakness are. But it is just going to make things complicated if White had to explain himself.
"I'll go and take a breather..." White told Blanc as he left the quarter.
White got up to the deck and met the captain.
"Ah, you. Thank you so much for apprehending that thief."
"No problem." White then noticed that the crew was getting ready to land. "I don't see any port nearby. What's wrong with your crew?"
"You hear the seagulls, young man? We're already near the port. If you don't believe me, you can climb up top.
And so, White climbed up the mast and onto the tallest vantage point in the ship. From up there, there was clouds everywhere. As the ship continues to move, the cloud moves away as it reveals the luscious and beautiful port of Violet Empire. The port was bustling with people and shipment all over the port. Smokes can also been seen in the horizon. It was definitely a busy empire. It's not the same level of grand as The Spectrum Empire but this was still on a whole different level.
"So this is Violet Empire...Looks like a city build from profits alright."
Several hours have passed after that and the cargo ship had safely arrived to the port of Violet Empire.
"Wow. This place is so busy." Shiro was in awe.
White then explained, "From what I heard, this place has the largest known port in Virtue."
Blanc also added, "It's also a fact that Violet Empire is known for being the most welcoming city for merchants. It's the most economic city in the land."
"Yeah, I wonder how that came to fruition from..." White sighed as he was about to meet the inevitable meeting.
Blanc then answered, "It's all thanks to the empress of this empire, Empress Yumiko."
"Empress Yumiko?" Shiro remembered, "I think I remember that rumor. Didn't she started out from being a poor little girl. It's an amazing tale indeed to see a commoner like her to rise up and become an Empress."
White loathed, "You can say that again..."
"You don't sound pleased at all with the empress. Something wrong?" Blanc asked.
"No. It's nothing."
"Oh really?" Shiro joined in.
"Don't you two have anything else to do? I thought we're parting ways." White tried to get out of the conversation.
Shiro then was surprised, "Hey, I thought I'll be brought to the jail or something. You letting me go?"
"It's not like you did any harm besides my arm, Shiro. Besides, you can do much better than being a thief."
Shiro then clarified, "I am not a thief. I am rogue. It's different."
"It's all the same to us." Blanc shrugged. "So where you heading, White?"
"Why should I tell you? I thought we discussed about this back during our trip."
"Well...after doing that investigation with you I find that you are an interesting person to be with. Plus, you have an eagle of your own. It is so loyal that it even crossed the sea with you."
"You really wanna follow me, huh?"
"Yup, it'll be a party." she nodded.
"Wait...even you, Shiro?" White looked at Shiro.
"You spared my life, so I owe you one."
White sighed, "Oh well. If that's the case then this will make things easier for us."
"What do you mean, White?" questioned Shiro.
"We're going to meet the empress. But she won't just simply meet a random outsider. So it's a good thing that you two are here."
"I knew something was up when we mentioned about the empress. So that's where you're going. Sounds interesting." Blanc was intrigued "So what's the plan?"
White took a deep breath and said, "I want you two to create a distraction. Not just an ordinary distraction, mind you. You two can cause enough chaos to let the guards keep an eye on you."
"Enough chaos? The way you say sounds like you really know about our specialty or something. We didn't even show you our abilities yet."
White bluffed, "It's simply my observation..."
Honestly speaking, he had to lie. It's the only way. And so the three of them initiate their plan to cause a huge distraction so that they can allow White to personally meet Empress Yumiko, me.
