Huguel spent his entire life hiding in the shadows. His plan was simple: he wanted to kill as many people as possible before killing himself, because that would mean he had killed more people than he had lost.
But then he heard about a new drug called "Molly". It was supposed to make you feel good. If he got some of that, he might not want to die after all. Maybe he could go on living.
Huguel was worried. He knew he shouldn't do anything dangerous without asking permission first, so he waited until his mother got home. Finally, she arrived and sat down next to him. She asked him about school and he told her everything. So he told her about the drug and how he wanted to try it.
His mother looked at him seriously.
"No, Huguely. You are not allowed to use drugs."
"Why not?"
"Because the government says so. They say it's bad, which is why you should never do it."
"But Mom, if the government says it's bad, doesn't that mean you're wrong? Shouldn't we listen to them instead of doing what they tell us?"
"Huguely, don't argue with your mother! I don't care what the government says. Drugs are not good for children!"
"But Mom, what if the government is wrong?"
"Huguely, you must obey your mother at all times, or else..."
