Chapter 4
Alex
The two men chased the man down the street, shouting insults at him. Both wore dark clothes and carried long knives in their pockets. The man looked confused, as if he didn't know where he was going.
After a few minutes, Alex stopped following them. He didn't want to get involved, so he decided to stay at the barber shop.
Alex was sitting in the chair when the door opened and the man walked in. Alex recognized him from the newspaper article. He looked scared now. He was covered in blood and his clothes were torn.
The man sat in the chair across from Alex and asked him to cut his hair. Alex really didn't understand why he was here, but he cut the man's hair anyway. When he was finished, the man thanked him politely and left.
Now Alex was curious. What happened to the man? Where did he go? Did he hurt anyone else? Was he okay?
Alex ran outside, but the man was already gone. He didn't see any police around, so he decided to follow the man's trail to the crime scene.
Alex followed the blood, which led him to the alley. There, he saw a young woman lying face down on the concrete.
She was bleeding heavily from her head and her mouth was open.
Alex rushed forward, pulling the gun from his pocket. He aimed at the woman's belly and pulled the trigger. There was a loud bang and the gun shot back.
