[Aiden used his last wish to grant admission to those who he felt guilty for. Henry Wiston the one who was meant to grant said wish was currently writing it out now and later he would take it to the higher-ups for approval but before he finished he looked up and asked Aiden a question]
Henry: I have a question.
Aiden: Yeah?
Henry: Most of the people you're giving admission to are mostly commoners right? Apart from the conjunction wish for the entire girls who participated, What about people that lost in the first round Like, Henry Versel, Chronil Blank, Bloker Bigod, Acto Blannen, etc? Don't they deserve to come here?
[Aiden's eyes widened his smile became distorted and he started to sweat profusely. He completely forgot about those people Henry mentioned...but he didn't forget Henry Versel he purposely left him out, but as for the others he genuinely forgot about them. He couldn't keep everyone in his mind and thus left them out. Henry tried to make eye contact with Aiden but his(Aiden's) eyes won't budge from facing left]
Henry: Aiden, did you forget?
Aiden: Hahahah, I-I o-of c-course, I-I didn't forget, Hahaha. Like I could forget, Hahahaha!
Henry: What was your reason for not including them then?
[Henry pressed on, he had a small smile on his which was blocked by his interlocked fingers, it was like he enjoyed Aiden having a nervous breakdown.]
Aiden: Hahaha, W-well it's simple really, Uhm, the thing is...
[Aiden was stumped for words but then he suddenly had a light bulb moment]
Aiden: That's right! I didn't include them on purpose because I knew that they would still get into the school either way!
Aiden's POV
Yes, let's go with that!
Henry: Ehh? Explain in more detail, please.
[Henry wore an even more mischievous smile as he pressed on. Aiden thought "Damned white-haired Bastard!!"]
Aiden: Well, Uhm, I-I noticed that when they lost they barely showed any emotions of grief or regret about it. It was like they were just playing and that this exam was just a formality for them. They would still get in either way.
Henry: Tch.
Aiden: "Tch"????!
[Aiden accidentally got the answer right and Henry got upset that he did because he wanted to tease him more. It's like he has a thing for tormenting someone mentally. Aiden got lucky]
Henry: You're correct....(Tsk, Unfortunately.)
Aiden: I heard that!!
Henry: Anyways, I'll get these to the higher-ups it'll probably take a day or less but I'll make sure they approve.
[Henry packed up the admission letters in his hands then stood up as he walked toward the door]
Aiden: I appreciate it.
[Aiden said with a light closed-eyed smile. Henry stared intently then he walked toward the wall where the swords were stacked and grabbed one]
Henry: Here you go.
Aiden: Eh? But I already made all my wishes....(And I'm not a swordsman)
Henry: Yes, but after today the people you chose will most likely get their admission letters they would Immediately know how and why they got it, it will be instantly traced back to you and given the fact you made this wish discreet they'll be 100% sure it was you.
Aiden: I-I'll just tell them I wished for something else.
Henry: Like? What would you tell them what your wish was?
Aiden: ...
[Aiden couldn't speak he was stumped]
Henry: Exactly. Everyone would know you made their admissions possible, so here, take this sword and say this was your wish.
Aiden: But Isn't this the headmaster?
Henry: You saw him didn't you? Does he look like he wields a sword?
Aiden: Well, no. (Hehe) But I still can't take it. Not about my morals or anything but...(The design doesn't look very cool)
Henry: Hm...
[A small vein twitched on Henry's forehead he sighed then put it back then he removed his sword that was on his waist and gave it to Aiden. It was a dark silver sword with a white-black scabbard design]
Henry: Will this suffice?
Aiden: Hehe, It will
[Aiden had a smug look on his face]
Henry: Why am I compromising for your sake again?
Aiden: Hehe.
[Henry released an exasperated sigh]
Henry: Anyways, tomorrow you and your group are advised to come as your dorms will be shown to you.
Aiden: Ehh? School is starting that fast?!
Henry: No, you twit. It's starting a week from today. This information was given to everyone who passed... excluding the girls who didn't, I'm just reminding you that you should come tomorrow to check out your dorms so you can know you can think of a way to get settled in.
Aiden: Ohhh. I get it. I'll tell my siblings this.... but I don't know where to find Calico.
Henry: Don't worry, since these letters will probably be approved later in the day, I'll include this information as well.
Aiden: You're a lifesaver.
Henry: I have to leave now. Feel free to take that little guy home with you.
[He pointed at the whittled bird he made]
Aiden: Really? Thanks!
[Aiden carried the bird from the desk and walked toward the door with Henry but before they left Henry stopped Aiden in the hallway to remind him of something.]
Henry: Oh and don't forget. Don't tell anyone about this.
Aiden: My lips are sealed!
[Aiden closed the door behind them and they left... In the hallway there was an unnoticeable distortion in space that became more opaque... until "he" was seen clearly]
Brian: My, Oh, my Brightfil, you sure are a hero, aren't you? I'm sure Jack and the others would love to know the reason they got into this school too.
[He wore a wicked smile, laughed then walked away]
[Outside the arena Aiden had finally finished today and was about to head home but he didn't feel like going back home Immediately, he looked up to the sky and saw the sun was at its peak but obstructed by fluffy white clouds and the winds that cooled the atmosphere despite the sun's heat. He thought that it'd be a bit wasteful to just go home Immediately so he decided to take a walk around the city]
[Aiden walked through the inner sanctums of the city and noticed how the buildings were larger and made of bricks and strong wood compared to his little village.
Aiden: Eh. The Capital is so beautiful and well-developed. I would be jealous but my village rocks too.
[He put his hands in his pocket and kept walking during his walk the fluffy clouds had passed away now the sun's rays were bathing him he it was too bright so he put on the hood attached to his outfit and then kept lazily walking through the city.]
[He was looking both ways as he was walking like a child discovering a new place for the first time, he turned his head left to a wide alleyway and saw there was a line for hanging clothes that hung from tall building to building and he also saw something he shouldn't have.]
Aiden: Ahhh,! I can see Grandma underwear!! My eyes!!
[He picked up the paste and walked faster trying to force the image out of his mind. During his walk, his stomach grumbled subtly,
Aiden: Hm... I'm hungry!
[His nose picked up the scent of food from a nearby vendor's shop and bought something similar to a crepé then dug into the snack and sipped some of the juice he also purchased at the vendor, he saw another vendor and bought some large fried fish on a stick (20 pieces) and left]
Aiden: Hehe. The city is awesome! It's a bit depressing I won't have days like this anymore because I get to go to *Shudders* school.
[As he was talking to himself he stuffed his face with 5 pieces of his fish at the same time, while choking and forcing the juice down his throat, he felt something tap his foot. It was a ball, He looked down then up and he saw it was just a bunch of kids playing and mistakenly shot it at him.
Child #1: W-we're sorry mister.
Aiden: Hehe, don't be. I'm not hurt at all.
[He smiled, gulped all the fish down, then gently passed it back to them]
Girl# 2: Thank you, mister!
[One of the girls who appeared to be 12 years old that were playing with the boys caught the ball Aiden passed and gave a word of thanks. Aiden smiled, waved then left]
Girl# 3: Who was he? He was nice.
Girl #2: I-I don't know b-but he was cute!
Boys: Ehhhhhh???
[Aiden kept walking aimlessly forward then took many corners as he found places that caught his eye with his hands back in his pocket after finishing eating.]
[ A reached a part of town where a gentle breeze blew him, and the part of his hair visible from the hood flowed with the wind, He took a deep breath then noticed something smelled good, he perceived, fresh bread, cakes, and the likes but one of those aromas seemed familiar to him. It was his mother's baking he had known for so long. Aiden when Aiden looked around he had accidentally wandered into the bakery district.]
Aiden: Eh. I've never been here before and it looks like another part of the town. Ahh~ I can smell Mom's baking.
Larisa: Aiden?
Aiden: Hi, Mom.
Larisa: You're here? Were you done with what you wanted to do at the arena?
Aiden: Yeah, I'm done. I just thought I'd take a walk around, you know? I've mostly seen around Sheates but I haven't seen much anywhere else. So I did a little exploring.
Larisa: I see... Be careful you might lost if you're not.
Aiden: Don't worry, Mom. I can never get lost.
[He proclaimed proudly]
Larisa: I hope not.
[She giggled.]
Larisa: Come get some cookies and take some home to your siblings. Oh, and no one in this world knows how to make em' yet but I made brownies. Go give those to Luna... she was upset about today.
Aiden: Oh... Okay. I guess I've explored enough today anyways. To be continued next time!
Martha: Ara~ Larisa is this your son?
[Martha, One of Aiden's mother's friends in the bakery district. She was an average-height woman, with a slim build, silky brown hair, and jade green eyes. She wore a casual brown dress with a plain apron]
Larisa: Yes, that's him, Aiden.
[Larisa touched Aiden on his head and smiled warmly from behind]
Aiden: Mom, who's this?
Martha: I'm Martha, I love baking too as much as your mother. Though she's better than me at it I try to keep up. Oh, and you can call me "Aunt Martha"
Aiden: Okay.
[Aiden kept staring at her ample chest not paying attention to most of the things she was saying. Then when she looked at him he quickly averted his gaze.]
Martha: Ara~ He's big and adorable to boot.
Aiden: Oh stop, you're making me blush.
Martha: I also have a son you should be older than him and I hear you're a troublemaker just like mine.
Larisa: Yes...he is.
Aiden: M-mom, Y-you're squeezing my hea— Gahhh!
Larisa: Despite me being happy to see you here, Aiden, I haven't forgotten all the stunts you pulled back at the arena!!
Aiden: Iyaaa!!! Save me, Aunt Martha!
Martha: C-calm down, Larisa.
[After a few strenuous minutes of Martha convincing Larisa not to harm Aiden, she finally him let go.]
[Aiden took the bag of goodies from his mother's shop and walked towards the exit to the district, Martha waved him bye while Aiden's mother whispered something like "I'll kill you at home" which made Aiden fearful of returning. He nervously waved them both bye and left]
Aiden: Sigh... I'm in trouble later.
[He kept moving forward hoping to find a corner to branch to while still exploring the city, he took corners he didn't know and got lost]
Aiden: Eh? Ehhh??! I'm lost...
.
.
.
.
[After walking around for a while he still couldn't find familiar ground. He then began to sulk behind a stall]
Aiden: Well, at least I have these treats to sustain myself before the cold winter takes me.
[He had already accepted this is his final destination in life, a few hours later it became evening and he was still there.]
Aiden: And after I told Mom I wouldn't get lost... Sigh... Sob...sob...
Wait! Why don't I just ask for directions?! Hehe, I feel like my genius level went 200+
[It took him 5 hours to realize this, If Draven were here he'd probably remark "200+0 is still 200" utterly crushing Aiden's feelings. But luckily he wasn't there. ]
[Aiden looked around and noticed that it was mainly shady-looking guys with a variety of weapons that were on this street]
Aiden: Eh?
[He walked a bit further he noticed a big hall with a bell tower at the very top and the bottom was like a bar and that's where all the shady-looking guys were headed to. He saw some drinking and chatting like they were best friends, he also saw some girls in some of the guy's groups dressed as mages, waitresses, combatants, etc. Some men were dressed as the male counterpart of those apart from "waiter" get up.]
Aiden: That doesn't look suspicious at all. I need to leave here.
[He looked around to see who he could ask for directions and noticed a big man approximately 7ft tall carrying two axes on his back, he was dark-skinned, bald, and looked like he was annoyed.]
[Aiden tilted his head to the left and squinted his eyes. He then thought: "Wait, I've seen this person before!!"]
[Aiden Innocently walked up to the man while holding the cookies close to his chest then tugged at the man's trousers like a little kid.]
[The man placed one of his arms on his axes and looked down with a fierce glare as if ready to "off" whatever touched him. Then all of a sudden he began to sweat profusely]
Aiden: Oh, now I know you, you're the "Lumberjack" aren't you?
LumberJack: I-its y-you!!
[His rugged voice was quivering.]
Aiden: Hi.
[Aiden said Innocently]
LumberJack: W-what are you doing here? Don't tell me you're joining the guild.
Aiden: Nope, not really, I'm just looking for my way back to where I came from.
LumberJack: O-oh, okay, what was the last place you remember coming here?
Aiden: The bakery district.
LumberJack: It's simple then, just turn here then take that street, take a left at the one after that, keep going forward till you see a gate, pass that gate you'll see another gate ignore that one then after that gate take a left across a bridge you'll see...
[Every single word he said went into one ear and came out the other. Aiden began to question whether he knew where he was going because he was quite certain he didn't pass a bridge to get here... at least he thought]
LumberJack: Do you got all that?
Aiden: Hm-hm!
[Aiden whimsically agreed and walked away like a child sent on a grocery store errand ... but in reality, he had no idea where he was going. During his aimless run, he bumped into someone]
