Finishing the sentence, a subtle change in the environment came along. Everyone turned their attention to a slick man entering the premises.
"Greetings from beyond the mountain." The man spoke.
His words seemingly causing the two ladies to feel afraid. Rex decided to show some the same sincerity that he showed. As the elder, she knew that this was his way of speaking.
"Greetings from the Demon Realm." Rex spoke.
The slick man froze. This was not supposed to be a man who could visit. Yet, here was a demon and a powerful one at that.
"I ask that you tell me your good name, sir demon." The slick man asked. He had a small flash happen inside his eyes before he replied with, "I forgot it is rude to ask someone of their name before telling your own. I ask that you do not hold that against me. I am the Dark Wolf King."
Rex smiled has he listened to the Dark Wolf King. The women all had a frown since the Dark Wolf King was only listening to the man and not allowing the others to speak.
"I am the current Demon King of Annihilation, Rex." Rex's words immediately sent shivers down the Dark Wolf King.
He had already once overstepped his boundaries and fought against the Third Demon King of Annihilation. That fight was not one he wants or ever wanted again.
"I am sorry for interrupting your time. I felt one of members die and wanted to know how it happened." The Dark Wolf King asked politely.
"It was daring to bare it fangs at those I care about. Be thankful that I did not burn it on the spot." Rex spoke truth.
The Dark Wolf King made sure to take note of that. Even some of the older Lady of the Lake would kill wolves if they dared to show themselves. Rex could burn it to ashes immediately if he so desired.
"I thank you for your generous generosity."
As the Dark Wolf King turned around to leave. The hairs on his body stood straight has Rex was angered that he would do such a thing currently.
"I am sorry. Did I say something wrong?" The Dark Wolf King pleaded with fear in his eyes.
"You dare to turn your back not knowing if I was done or not." Rex spoke with Demonic Qi flowing out.
Everyone around Rex all sat down. Wolf, Lady, Elder, and even the air seemed to help everyone down.
"Before we continue, I do want to ask how the Dark Wolves were made. If I believe you are lying, you better pray that it is the truth when I find out." Rex's words stung.
It was not just a matter of stinging it was the weight of the words were heavy and full of promises yet to be kept.
The Dark Wolf King felt a tug at his heart. His eyes showed what it meant for him to speak on such matters. As the time seemed to slow down anyways for the Dark Wolf King. A he had in his pocket mysteriously made it to Rex's hands.
"I'm sorry but that is all I can," the Dark Wolf King's heart was squeezed into paste killing him on the spot.
Rex read the paper. The Dark Wolves seemed to become aggravated at the sense of their dead King. Rex pocketed the paper and made his way towards the mountain. The fire in his eyes made it known that he was not happy.
Meanwhile
"Fool. He was indeed a good pawn." A man had spoke with blood on his hands.
"Can we resurrect him like last time?" Another woman showed up.
"No. He already broke the Forbidden Rule of not telling about us. Can we make time to live and make another Dark Wolf King?" This time a child showed up.
This discussion seemed to poise the idea of still trying to make a Dark Wolf King. Their intentions were far from it.
"Possibly, but we need to kill that woman before another Dark Wolf King can be made." The man spoke.
"I fear that I will have to die to keep you two alive. Make sure that everything is in place before we truly make the sacrifice." The woman spoke.
Her words made the man feel ashamed. He knew the woman was both physically and mentally stronger. Yet, his Qi was stronger and would lose to hers just because of her intelligence.
"First, we strike and deal as much damage as possible while blinding the Demon King. Once we have, that should buy us enough time to either make a run or form a new Dark Wolf King." The child spoke.
"That would be the best route. That is also the worst route. If that Demon King does not get blinded, or injured we will have exhausted our powers for nothing." The woman replied.
The air felt heavy. The Dark Wolves began howling at an intruder on the mountain. Using the blood of the woman, she formed a formation and told the two get on it. They disappeared once the activation happened.
"Goodbye. My family. I trust that you will grow into marvelous villians who will cause the downfall of the Lady of the Lake." The woman prayed awaiting for the Demon King to enter in the area.
Meanwhile
"A formation sent them to the Sixth Realm, huh." Rex just read a notification.
"Well, seems like we can just bust through the mountain now." Rex said with Fire Qi in his left hand and Nature Qi in his right.
The mountain either blew up or got torn apart by Rex. The woman saw the Demon King sitting on branch looking down as if he honestly did not care about her whatsoever.
Her eyes wide with surprise, her instincts screamed that she was weak, her body trying to leave but her mind enforcing the stay.
"You honestly should have left with whoever else was here. Now, I can kill whoever else went with the boy." Rex told the woman.
Before she could mutter a word, her head was in her hands.
