As Rex was in the lake. The lady of the lake poked her finger with a weird grass blade. A single drop of her blood entered the lake.
"Is that something that you should be doing?" The Tempest Dragon asked in a tone of awkwardness.
"This is for him and him alone." She replied monotone.
This was something that even the Tempest Dragon could not think of. He had seen heard of this happening before but he never had seen it himself.
"My apologies. I have heard of the stories of you blessing humans, beastkin, and beasts but I have never seen it before. So I am on the wrong side of asking." The Tempest Dragon spoke in revenance.
"Your apology is not needed. All that is needed is for him to accept that drop." The lady of the lake replied again in monotone.
The Tempest Dragon knew that something was up. He was not for sure himself.
Baby Wyvern looked into the lake. A gem was catching her eye. As she tried to go in and get it. The lady of the lake gently lifted up Baby Wyvern with just a finger.
"What you see dear is your Master. That shiny is not yet at its full potential." The lady of the lake spoke happily.
The Tempest Dragon looked in and could not see Rex. He wondered why he could not see Rex. Of course, the baby dragon looked in and saw the gem and wanted to get it himself.
Of course the lady of the lake gently held the baby dragon.
"You like him as well?" The lady of the lake cutely spoke to the baby dragon.
Big teary eyes could be seen on the face of the baby dragon. The lady of the lake gently held the baby dragon closer.
"I know your heart. There is no need to worry. Allow your emotions to run wild. There is no shame in allowing your emotions to run wild. There is shame in holding in your emotions and hurting people in the process."
Tears gently rolled the baby dragon's face. First, he was upset that she did not allow him to get the gem that caught his eye. Second, his family he truly missed. Third, he was happy that a woman was gently holding him in her grasp and that was a good feeling.
The lady of the lake knew that the baby dragon would have a hard time surviving even with the elder dragons watching over him. She was glad that a human was willing to watch over the young dragon.
Even has the dragon he had in the Ninth Realm would be alright to help guide the baby dragon into a true powerhouse. The tiger could also give ever good pointers to help the baby dragon become something even more powerful.
"That drop of blood has not even blessed him yet, how can I make him accept it?" The lady of the lake questioned herself.
That is when she realized something important. She had not blessed the water beforehand it was only after. As she looked deep down, the power emitting from Rex was alreadt twice the amount that a single drop of blood could handle.
"Alright you two. I have to perform my next step, so please behave or you will have death coming to your next second in life." The lady of the lake warned them.
Baby Wyvern put her wing out and the baby dragon jumped unto her head from the wing.
"Blessing of the Lake"
The lake began to stir into a massive dragon. The depths opened wide it looked like Rex was already inside a dragon's maw.
"Water Qi"
The Qi within the lake began to shift towards Rex. The amount of Qi that was in there was almost twice of what should normally be seen in the Seventh Realm.
"Lady of the Lake Special Privilege"
The ground began to shake and the sky seemed to be understanding that whatever is happening is going to affect everything close in range. A once blue sky was now black even the worst rain during the night during a new moon was brighter than this.
"Awaken the Inward Soul"
Everything seemed to just stop. A weird conclusion to everything that just happened.
"Accept my drop of Blood"
Once the drop of blood entered Rex felt a new connection. He did not know who or what it is was. This was weird that he could not even tell what the connection was to, who the connection was to, or even who made the connection.
As he stepped out of the lake. The Tempest Dragon was the first to look deep into the skin of Rex. He felt that this body belonged to a Heavenly Cultivator instead of a Demon Cultivator, Mortal Cultivator, or even a Beastkin Cultivator.
Baby Wyvern felt that her Master was now more perfect than perfect itself. The baby dragon wanted to lick Rex for it seemed like he was perfect for growing it's strength.
"Welcome back. I am here to explain what just happened." Another lady seemingly came forward.
They looked and see looked exactly like the lady of the lake expect much older and mature.
"My child has blessed you. Each Lady of the Lake can only activate their dripping essence once in their lifetime. Once that dripping has activate, a new Lady of the Lake will be born within this water.
You are the father. So, I must congratulate you for birthing a new Lady of the Lake. That is also a curse for her now. She can only Mate with you. There is a special connection that only the two of you will have.
It is not like a Soul Mate where when one dies the other does as well. She is still a protector of the lake. She will join once she has matured more than she has.
I must say, whatever she did to bless you. It has indeed grown you into a marvelous man and one that can actually cause damage to other Lady of the Lake."
As Rex heard the words. He could not help but gulp at this now seemingly awkward sensation that another child as been born and he did not even try to impregnate her.
