The rogue cultivator thought it through and decided to try and sell the information. Rex had already seen the greedy thoughts through the cultivator.
As for the man and woman, they were greedy as well. Their lives were vastly more important than a quick bang before they die either way.
As for the cultivator, his life was about to become forfeit. He did not know nor did he think about the consequences of thinking ahead.
"Come here." Rex motioned.
The rogue cultivator did such.
"Do you know how to see greed in people's eyes?" Rex asked.
"I honestly do not." The cultivator replied.
As the Iris was thinking of how greedy she could be. The cultivator realized that he had the same eye look while thinking about selling the information.
From storage, Rex pulled a basic axe and used it to quickly behead the rogue cultivator. Rex turned his attention to the man and woman.
"I hope that you two know the importance of not even thinking ahead and trying to sell underneath me." Rex told them.
"Sorry! We were honestly thinking how much we could profit!" The man replied.
His thoughts pure and his greed was aligned with those thoughts.
"I honestly thought about it for a minute before deciding that it was not worth it. Either way, my life was ruined by the end. At least this way, I still have my life intact." The woman replied.
Rex could tell the truthfulness of the words being spoken. Although he was saddened by two of the three thinking early about it. He hoped deep down this would ensure that nothing truly evil came from the duo. He knew that his evil would be much worst.
"Alright. I expect everything to be set in stone that the two of you do not plan to backstab me. I will be thousands of time worst after the fact then now." Rex spoke.
The man nodded first as Rex looked at him since he did not speak anything about betrayal. As Rex looked at the woman, the fear in her eyes told Rex all he needed to know.
"The man will try to try betray me." His thoughts aligned with the woman.
He was going to give them a chance. He hoped that this place could turn up before he had make him disappear.
"Alright head together into the mines. This woman who is giving the baby to my Soul Mate is War God. She is my Battle Maid. Any finding that we get she will see first." Rex told the couple.
They nodded. War God finished handing the baby Violet. As if wrapped in nature, Violet displayed a grand view in holding the child.
The man and woman began to exit awaiting for War God to follow. Rex made War God follow him to retrieve some paper for maps.
As they entered the main part of the arena. Rex began his explanation of what was to come.
"First, I believe that the man will betray me. If he tries to, make sure that I do not see him ever. If I do, his life will be turned into a hellish nightmare."
War God nodded in agreement.
"Second, I want detailed maps of the caves. Any crystal that you find that gives you a weird feeling I want it wrote down where it is located."
War God nodded in agreement.
"Third, I believe that woman is afraid of someone else besides me. Make sure to find out who she is connected to. Make her comfortable being around you. More information that she gives us, the better chance we get to keep her." Rex told her.
Outside the arena
"Why did you tell him what you thought?" The man angrily provoked the woman.
"Because I still fear for my life unlike you." She replied afraid.
"Just because we could strike it big with the intel does not mean we always just speak the truth. Now he knows something is up. I have to play careful or try to get rid of that fucking bitch." The man replied and slapped the woman.
"There is not a second chance." The man replied.
Iris had made a water droplet and had it record what their conversation was about. She held it there until Rex and War God came back.
It was when the conversation ended that Rex and War God came through. Rex waved for his Soul Mate to come to him.
As the group of women came forward. War God prepared herself for a fight. She knew that the man would either try to betray either upon finding a crystal or on the way back from a failure in a mine.
The woman now trying to hide her pain and suffering. Knew that she could not effectively always keep her stance. She was either betray the man and cause her family to fall out or betray Rex and never help her family again.
"I guess there is only one option." She thought.
Once War God came through the arena. The group left. Iris called the water droplet back so that they all could hear what was said amongst the two new individuals.
"This should be far enough." The man said.
"Far enough for?" The woman spoke confused.
"To explain what you nearly screwed up." The man's anger evident.
"What did I do?" The woman could not tell.
"You screwed not only my family! But yours as well!" The woman cried.
The conversation ended in anger.
"Well, it seems like this is much worst than anticipated." Rex said.
