As the group of women wondered why Rex brought home children. The children themselves were amazed at how pretty the women.
"Each of you are extremely pretty." The boy said with excitement.
The women chuckled with the boy's words.
"You idiot." The girl spoke.
As the crowd overjoyed with excitement, the only man was simply taking his time. Watching each interaction between the boy and girl, and then between his women and the children. It was not for the fact that he needed to but that he wanted to.
Each interaction proving to him that they indeed were worthy of becoming the next set. As the joy was truly evident on the faces of the women. Rex too found joy in the fact that he too was going to have more children in the future. His body screaming for him to go on ahead and try but his mind telling him different.
"Would the father's be upset? Would the girl's hate become evident? What about the Shadow People coming in and forcing me to launch whatever attacks I could at them?"
More and more thoughts of destruction came into mind. This was how Rex truly felt about the wanting children before the war.
Concern became etched on his face. His women went to hug him. They knew of the burden he was carrying. They also knew of the tragic war that would happen. His shoulders not only full of cultivation of Demonic, Mortal, Heavenly, and Godly Qi. The fact of Mortal Qi does not affect the Shadow People. Since he has lost his Heavenly Qi for the time being. Too much pride in him right now would cause him to be completely destroyed.
Rex smiled has they tried to cheer him up. Inside he was empty and the children could tell. What they did not know was the reason behind it causing so much trouble to him.
As the group finally, rested and enjoyed a sunset of the weirdest colors. A single thought caused Rex to understand what he needed to do.
"They were meant to replace Georgiana and Zahida!" His mind overjoyed with it and his body not knowing how to respond.
"You two. Will you protect innocent lives and give them a better future?" Rex asked.
The duo looked at each and nodded in agreement.
"Will you two always look out for each other?"
They had mixed feelings on this.
"Will you two always put the First Realm and their cultivators first before yourselves and pleasure?"
They agreed that could be done.
"Do you intend to love each other or be enemies after you are done Maintaining the First Realm?"
The boy not wanting to spend the rest of his with her. The girl had already decided to follow him and would ask and watch for ways to pleasure him.
As the group continued to chat about not important items. The girl finally decided to put her foot down.
"I, a lowly commoner, promise to follow the boy beside me until death and give new life to the First Realm."
When the words flowed out of her mouth. A knot twisted in her stomach. This was the knot that Georgiana too had to deal with but without Zahida in the beginning.
A feeling of needing to vomit came to the girl. She had never felt like that before. Before the boy, he was not ready to make such commitments to any girl. He was indeed sorrowful and truly unwilling to let it grow out of hand.
"I, a commoner, will not allow the girl beside me to follow me. For I am not worthy of being followed and my life is not ready for a woman to enter. I will always put the First Realm and each person inside of it before my very life."
As the words left his mouth sorrow came upon each of the women. To Rex, he was being a man worthy of any woman or women that were not taken.
"I am proud that those words are indeed sincerely honest from your heart. However, you do need to keep her in mind while maintaining the First Realm." Rex spoke with wisdom.
When Rex spoke, the women understood how Rex felt. They too would feel that way if they could understand the nature of that. As the group continued to chat throughout the night, an understanding of came upon the group.
The children, even though commoners from where they were from, still had to show that they could work hard for their living hood as young as they were.
Everyone ventured around and went into the bedrooms about midnight. Rex was with each woman in the bedroom. The children wanted to know how to make the boy feel less burdened while trying to increase the depth of love.
The women began to teach different massage techniques. These techniques worked marvelous on Rex's sore body. War God even used a sword to teach her to never be afraid of any woman entering her man's household but be weary of any man wanting to enter.
Even with Rex trying to be an evil person. The girl could not find it in herself to defend from Rex's playful manner. Of course, he would not hurt her. That is because she is indeed too young right now.
The boy watched with interest through a crack in the door. He came upon hearing weird sounds throughout the house. When he looked at the girl and trying to defend herself.
The boy felt that he had indeed betrayed the feelings of trust within her. As the women were trying to teach her methods of protection and helping the man. The boy silently went away.
Rex knew that he watched and was not going to speak a word of it. He knew how much he had watched his Soul Mate and no one ever said a word to him. That is not only going to hurt the boy but who knows what would happen to the girl.
