All the women fell asleep the girl spending the night inside the room. Rex gently walked towards the room with the boy. He knocked on the door and there was no answer.
"May I come in?" Rex asked.
Still no answer. So Rex gently opened the door to see the boy ready to harm himself. Rex immediately stopped the boy from doing so.
"Why were you trying to hurt yourself?" Rex angrily asked.
"I have betrayed the woman who was supposed to be with me forever." The simple answer that the boy felt in his heart.
Rex took the weapon away. The duo sat down on the bed.
"How did you betray her?"
The tears that the boy dropped her true has he felt his entire shaking with fear.
"I do not wish to spend the rest of my life with her. Yet, she continuly strives to make us work. Even earlier, she was trying to find ways to keep me protected and feel comfortable. What I have done for her? NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!" The tears rolling down like a massive flood at this point. "So why do I deserve a woman like that? I do not. Nor do I want her to feel compelled to stay with a loser man like myself."
As the boy let out his true feelings, Rex just thought back to his childhood. Even when he did not want to be around his Soul Mate at the time, they wanted to keep being around him. If by choice or force, the girls were not going to allow him to be suffer from anyone else.
"I have thought like that as well. Over time, they came to depend on me for their wellbeing. I do have one request."
The boy watched Rex's body language and heard the tone of truth in his body and voice.
"Be strong. If you fail, what happens to her? If she fails, what happens to you? If you or her forces the split, what happens?"
As Rex spoke, the boy knew in his heart what the answers were. He was not wanting to speak the words nor hear the words coming from Rex's mouth. He had to hear them anyways.
"You and her will forever be hurt. No matter who does the splitting. She will be more likely to breakdown and force herself to find you only to be devastated." Rex spoke.
The words that was heard and what needed to be spoke were true. The boy was upset that he did not try to argue the words nor fight Rex. He just let those words be said and sink in.
"Still do not believe that I desire or deserve her. At least I will not allow her to be hurt by staying by my side."
Rex was saddened by his words. He did not try to argue with him. The boy needed to learn for himself what he needed to do.
"If you need my help, please ask the Sixth Realm Maintainer to call me. I will not do anything that she wants to do with you. Nor will I be the one to separate you two. Anything else in the world, I will try to help you with."
The boy did not understand completely what Rex was speaking of. He did understand the last part. The boy wrote down everything that Rex told him. He kept it in a drawer underneath an item that he liked.
"Be good now." Rex said and left the room.
As the boy felt that his time to shine in leadership was greater than most. He did not want to yet. His heart was in turmoil over the girl.
"My parents, do I try to authorize a standoff or do I just keep her close?" The boy asked staring at the ceiling.
As the boy felt that the answer would come naturally, he wanted help to see what the answer would be.
Tears fell down as he could not figure out what to do. Finally, a spark of light came from the window. He looked out to see the sun rising.
"The sun seemed to calm his heart but the tears fell down again." A voice spoke to Rex.
Rex knew what the boy was going to do. He had to let him do him. When the sun was higher in the sky, Rex and his women left. The girl had been imparted the knowledge that she needed to know.
Rex had asked for that to happen. The boy would either naturally trust the girl or just keep her there for knowledge. He knew that the boy would not harm himself or her. He did not want to be in front of him in case his mindset was not what Rex thought.
As the boy went into the living room, he decided to tell the girl what he thought and what he knew in his heart.
When the girl returned into the house, she saw the boy sitting on the floor. She was surprised to see him there.
"Sit across from me." The boy ordered.
The girl did so.
"I want to tell you a truth in my heart first. I do not want to spend forever with you. I know that my heart and my thoughts are different. I have to keep you close to my side." The voice echoed the words to Rex.
Rex gritted his teeth and forced himself to step faster to get out of the area. The women were shocked to see Rex getting emotional.
"So allow me to ask you a simple question. Do you want to help me or leave?" The voice echoed the words again to Rex.
Rex felt his blood boiling. This was not what was supposed to happen.
"The girl is crying her heart out currently."
Rex had every intention to go back and beat the boy.
"What will I do without you? The girl asked through her crying voice."
"The world is big enough to do what you want. Will I be better in the future? Probably not. I want you to at least to know the truth."
The girl looked and decided to go to her room.
The boy waited there for an answer.
