The Cereberus wanted to give Rex a taste of the strength that he could not give him before. The two raised a high five and when it connected, the Cereberus felt that Rex was not a power creep. He was the definition of power.
"How I wished to have fought him like this before." He lamented.
Rex kept a straight face. Yet, he knew how he too wished that he could have been this strong during the time he fought this Cereberus before.
"I truly want to enjoy this fight to the fullest." The Cereberus spoke highly.
"Me too."
The two gripped each other as the clash happened. A headbutt clashed and caused an avalanche to happen on both sides of the mountain. They were not even trying now and both sides of the mountain had a massive avalanche happening and if anyone were close death was all the was following.
Since neither party was trying to win. This became a bad stalemate. The mountain shook with great authority. The collapse of the mountain could be wagered with gold bars if they were present. It was not a matter of if, but when and who would end up up top.
As the mountain shook, cracks began to form currently near the bottom but most of them were in the middle leading upwards.
Rex could tell that the mountain was going to be destroyed. He tried to maintain it with his Nature Qi but it was like filling a crater with just a bag of cement.
"This mountain is going to fall." Rex told the Cereberus.
"Maybe or maybe not." The Cereberus replied.
Neither one was fully trying to take each other out. Why? This was not that kind of match. They just wanted to enjoy the fight to the fullest. Life or death in the midst of trying to test each other out? Absolutely not. One wrong move and a slap, graze, wild slice, or Qi attack could become the weak spot.
Here it was like two old men just trying to push each other into a spot where they have to make a weird move. Rex was not having it nor was the Cereberus.
This stalemate caused a joyous laughter to leave the Cereberus. Nothing else continued expect for the cracks getting wider and longer.
As for Rex, he did not want this to continue. The Cereberus did because that is who it is. A beast that wants to use maximum power for a stalemate. Could Rex overpower it? By using everything in his arsenal at once, that does take a lot to do.
"Such a dangerous beast. I wonder why he does not try to take a win?" Rex pondered.
Rex knew that it literally takes him going all out to win. Yet, the beast did not try to go over the amount that Rex was doing.
As the time became night. Both man and beast were simply trying to overpower each other at roughly five percent. Rex was using all of Physical Strength, however by not using Heavenly, Demonic, or Godly Qi the amount of strength was only equal to the maximum of the Fifth Realm 150,000 Strength. Plus with only five percent of his Mortal Qi going to strengthen himself. It is roughly five percent rounded up total of his full power.
As for the beast, it was only trying to waste time. The first slap gave the beast all the information that he needed to know. As the duo tried to overpower each other at the same level, the beast was finding Rex more interesting.
"He truly is someone that did not get chosen. Must be the people in the Realms higher than the Heavenly Realm." The Cereberus thought.
He did know of the Godly Realm but being a beast. It could not fully understand the concept of that Realm. That Realm is truly meant for humanoid beings.
Can beasts enter that Realm? Of course. It is just that they take too long to find the answer for them to enter the Godly Realm. The Cereberus wanted to find a way in there without damaging his core foundations.
The Core foundations is the same as humanoids principals. For beasts, they have to maintain their Core foundations in order to break into the Heavenly Realm. Thinking the same for the Godly Realm, the beast needs help in maintaining his Core foundations while breaking through.
A beast can break through into the Heavenly Realm while breaking their Core foundations. However, they do not live long enough to truly find the answer in life because they are targeted before causing a ruckus or every beast has to attack the newcomer with roars of challenge given all day and night.
Truly, a hardship on beasts however the payoff for them is much greater in their advancement. The ability to speak any humanoid language, the ability to become a beastman depending on the beast, the ability to challenge even other worlds. Yet, it all boils down to their Core foundation not getting damaged.
The Power Creep for beasts is truly a challenge worthy of challenging. Rex was finding out how much power can be outputted casually by such beasts.
As more and more cracks happened. The mountain began to crumble. It was still holding strong for the time being.
A slight push in strength came from the Cereberus. Rex equaled that power. That slight power up caused the mountain to fully crumble. As the mountain was crumbling, the duo just remained their positions.
As the mountain finally turned to dust, the duo were laughing. No one knew what happened during the fall, something triggered the best of the both of them.
"Come on, we have to find the others." The Cereberus spoke lowering it's current only head.
The three headed dog fully became apparent. Demonic tattoos covered the dog, this showed how much he was holding back just from his encounter with Rex. Neither one truly wanted to fight but make each other reveal a trump card first.
