As the man and Cereberus walked towards the First Realm's Maintainer's abode. Laughter was coming from both of them. Yet, the joys of laughter was not from what was funny but rather each person finding faults in how they fought.
"Not trying to just quickly overpower me. I must admit that was truly laughable." Rex giggled.
"Yes, yes I should have. It is not like you could not have either." Two heads of the Cereberus laughed.
The duo kept their laughter up until they reached the abode. Since it had become daybreak of the next day, Rex figured that the maids had all come here already. To his surprise, they had not reached here yet.
Rex felt that this was strange but decided to trust War God. If she could not handle this, what about when something or someone truly matters to him.
Georgiana and Zaldia both saw the Cereberus from far away. They planned to fight but something seemed off the closer it got. It was not trying to spit fire or prepare to demolish the area like in times past.
Upon watching it get close and Rex jumping off its back. The duo were glad to see good times ahead.
The Cereberus changed into its past form. This allows him to quickly enter buildings that need to be entered. Looking around the inside of the house, the Cereberus felt that something was indeed amiss when all the prisoners were gone.
Upon closer sniffing of the area, the Cereberus knew that they had died inside the cages. Which should have been impossible but with Rex around. Everyone already knew how strong he was.
The Cereberus just a conversation with Rex and Georgiana. Even he was surprised to how much she had changed. He could feel her insides being very weakly but the entire demeanor of her was greatly improved.
"He truly is someone who the Nine Realms cannot contain." The Cereberus thought.
As the Cereberus thought, he felt several presences approaching. He silently went out to see how many of the maids and butlers died.
When War God was seen by the beast, he knew several of them had faced the beasts that roam the area.
"We have killed twenty beasts." War God shouted trying to encourage the group.
Yet, even with only one person dying due to the surprise. War God was not in any condition to be able to keep up.
"Come on. Your new Master will be proud." The Cereberus spoke.
She was surprised to see the beast that Rex fought. Yet, with no sign of injury or fatigue. War God was upset.
When she and the Cereberus saw Rex. Her calm demeanor quickly vanished. She was proud to see Rex even stronger than the some of the most feared beasts.
"Master, I failed to keep one alive. A surprise attack landed on the throat of a butler." She said sorrowfully.
When the rest came forth. Rex saw their makeshift weapons. This was proof of how much they cared for the life of themselves and the others.
"You all did a fantastic job! I will allow any person who wishes to join the military to do so. Or you have the option of becoming maids and butlers in my houses, that will detail that each of you be able to fight if that time comes." Rex told them.
A young maid came forth. She was more of a shy type but had to be strong in this case.
"Which case grants us a better chance at life?" She asked.
Rex was surprised at that question. It was one of the few that he did not know the answer to.
"I will be truthful. Being in the military will grant you hardships, becoming my maids and butlers will grant you similar hardships but it would be a rather easy job with this many of you. As the benefits of the military, when a war hits our Realms and families. You all will be the second in line to charge at the enemies.
I will not and cannot promise you anything before that. I will grant you whatever land you want afterwards for the military. At least being my maids and butlers, you will always have a roof over your heads." Rex told them.
The maid smiled and replied, "I will not say that I enjoyed the death of the beast at my hands. I will fight to help protect what matters to you."
More of them agreed with her. This was not only engraved into their minds and Souls but what they actually wanted. Seeing how War God fought with her best to protect everyone by critically injuring the beasts that attacked them.
Rex smiled at the fact that the maids and butlers were willing to do such good stuff. He knew now that they would become a force to reckon with inside his own home.
"So Lilith would have the absolute pleasure in training them to the fullest of their abilities." Rex smiled without realizing.
The Cereberus too felt that these people were worth training. He had a more fun approach.
"Give them hell and then more hell afterwards. We also have to make sure they it fun or they will suffer even more of a hellish experience." The Cereberus thought in pleasure.
As the group had their thoughts running through. War God seemed to understand one thing about Rex that would never change.
"He loves his women too much. He would rather allow them to make sure that the people that he grants them to is privileged enough to stand toe to toe against all odds."
Georgiana and Zaldia both just relaxed on Rex's shoulders has the group silently waited for the next step.
"Can you too open a portal to Lilith for me?" Rex asked.
"Of course. Here you go." Georgiana said.
The Cereberus felt that Georgiana's power weakened quite a bit. He knew that this was only a matter of time before she passes out.
