A sight to behold was before Rex. He saw a large stone completely surrounded by flowers of various colors and slightly coveted by vines. This was not an usual sight within the Nine Realms, many battlefields did this for the dead.
What caught Rex's attention was the fact that the sun was rising and cast a glow on the stone. This seemed to make the entire area feel at peace.
Any mind who could be at war with itself would immediately be caught into peace upon looking at this moment. Instead of just trying to get the glimpse into memory Rex decided to cultivate here.
This was one of the couple of areas that even the most vicious beasts within the Sixth Realm dared not to intrude. Not because they were free and could almost anything they wanted. Rather the peaceful tone within the trees at that spot.
The growth of peace seemed to expand. It not only covered a small area but now that Rex was cultivating. It branched to the closest tree circle.
Birds were not chirping in the Sixth Realm as they did not want to be the first to be ate for breakfast. However, they landed in the peaceful area and felt more at home around the stone and on Rex than their nests.
Large steps could be seen from something moving swiftly but quietly. A shade of black amongst the shadows that seemed to threaten this creature's natural time to sleep. However, getting close to the stone. The beast felt the need to stop and relax. This was naturally a safe zone and even it did not want to die amongst the daytime hunters. As it entered the circle, a smile formed on the beast. Not because fresh meat was in front of it but the refreshing scent of the peaceful area that it now entered.
It gently laid down behind Rex with its head to Rex's left and it's tail going across the lap. A peaceful snore could be heard. This did not affect Rex. As he was cultivating, notifications were going off yet nothing stopped him from this peaceful cultivation.
"Congratulations to Host for cultivating in a peaceful area."
"Host has been granted the ability to increase this area's peacefulness."
"Host cultivating in peace has increased the radius of this peaceful area."
These were the notifications going off.
Yet uncovered by anything, Rex continued to cultivate.
Meanwhile
"Although Violet said to stay where you were. I am afraid of where my daughters are." War God thought in fear of something happening to her daughters.
The peaceful sunrise that she though she could enjoy turned out to become a nightmare for her.
Vicious beasts roared at the sun like it was bothering them. Yet, even louder beasts roared in anger from the first roars.
"Greetings, I am from the Nature Sect please follow me." A kind young woman spoke.
War God followed her. Yet admist the roars happening, this young lady continued to be unbothered by them.
"How are you so comfortable with the roars of beasts?" War God asked.
"The beasts here know what it means to roar at the sun. They give chances to those night stalkers to get into their dens and trees. However, certain spots are allowed to be hunted by those beasts and cultivators. It could be something that is how the great Life-giver made it or it could be something that naturally happened.
Living among the beasts that can threaten you makes one wonder how life in the other Realms are so chaotic? Here peace maintains even when the worst is happening else where." The lady spoke.
War God got a sense of relief. Maybe that could be why she was afraid at first and now felt better.
"What about people who have just ascended into this Realm? How are they protected?" War God asked.
"Good question. There are a couple of safe spots within the Sixth Realm. Most beasts understand that unless the Stairway means for them to die a painful death, they do not attack them nor do they try to make enemies out of them at first.
Once the person as been to the Nature Sect, all changes. The Nature Sect is one of the proving grounds to make it where one can be sent into the forest. This is how the beasts know that the people can be hunted or not." The woman replied.
War God was thankful. She did not have to worry about her daughters as much.
However, thar worry became true for Rex. She was the last of the women to arrive in the Nature Sect. Yet, no matter where the cultivators went. Not a single one nor their companions could find Rex. This meant only one thing.
He was inside a peaceful area. This was truly a disaster to happen. Not only were the peaceful areas far away from the Sect but they were also not allowed to go to them unless it was an emergency.
"What happens now?" War God asked.
"We have no choice but to ask the Great Lady to use the locator. If Rex is indeed in one of those spots, we will not be issued any kind of grievance. However, the same cannot be said if he is indeed not there. The beasts will attack without restraint." The lady who brought War God replied.
"What other options do we have?" Violet asked.
"There is a beast that we can ask to go there to a specific spot but it will cost a pretty coin." Another lady responded.
"Ask the beast to come into the Great Sect's courtyard. No one is to harm it nor is it allowed to harm those who look at it." Violet replied.
The two ladies nodded dashed towards the beast's location. It was a simple visit yet the pressure from both sides was enough to cause an anger issue.
"Very well, I, Tortoise, will visit the Sect. Be aware, my cost will increase if I do not like the woman whom I am to meet." Tortoise replied.
