Chapter 501 - Chapter 499 Maximum's Returm

In the tomb, a person was watching over a sleeping Maximum. This person was not Rex nor any of the people inside. It was not Seishi or his wife.

Out of all the people it could have been it was the newest recruit for his Sect. Maximum's wife had asked him to go there to be sure that Maximum had indeed arrived safely.

When the Sect Disciple arrived, he found Maximum asleep inside the tomb. To his surprise, no one else was even trying to enter the tomb.

The disciple watched over Maximum. Three days passed by and nothing happened. The Sect Disciple sent word to Maximum's wife.

She would find out that Maximum had not yet woken up just a couple hours before his return.

As the Sect Disciple returned, he saw movement within Maximum. The disciple stood back and watched Maximum closely.

Within minutes, Maximum began to do weird stretches. It seemed like he was trying to refamiliar himself with his body.

A couple of minutes passed and he felt much more lively than he had even when he was child. Maximum could almost see his meridians pulsing with much more Qi than normal.

The Sect Disciple felt Maximum had reached a Realm beyond what he should have. Fear and awe are the same coin when a being, human or not, is truly worth respect.

The closer one is to the being, the better the Awe response is when something major happens. The farther away the others are becomes fear. In the case of the Sect Disciple, he was currently having both.

He was close to some members of the Sect. While he had seen Maximum fight a battle inside the Fourth Realm battle areas.

Still he was in that middle area where both take hold. He was awed by the presence of Qi making Maximum breakthrough. Yet, he felt afraid because he was sure to be killed.

"Why is an Outer Member here watching me?" Maximum's voice was not soft but not loud and yet it sounded like a bomb going off.

The Sect Disciple held his arms over his head in pure hopes of survival. Maximum did not know what happened but he just wanted the answer to his question.

"Boy, I promise not to hurt you. I do need the answer to my question." Maximum's voice boomed again.

"Your wife asked about you, Heavenly Cultivator." The Sect Disciple answered.

Maximum felt that he indeed was closer than ever to breaking through to the Heavenly Realm. Yet, he knew there was something that he had to achieve in order to fully be ready for the advancement.

"Come." Maximum said.

The duo went to go find Iris and Rex. It honestly was not far because Iris made Rex set up camp on the other side of the tomb.

"My darling princess." Maximum gloated.

Iris was surprised at how much Qi was honestly circulating around Maximum. She felt it was on par if not a mudge smaller than Rex using his Demon King of Annihilation form.

As Maximum explained what he could honestly remember. Rex felt eyes appear behind Maximum. That was keeping his memories from completely returning.

"Maximum, I have an honest question." Rex began.

Maximum nodded.

"Is it true that you have memory loss? Or do you believe that they are currently sealed away awaiting for something to happen." Rex asked.

"Hard to say. I do not feel any kind of seal on my body or inside my body. That means nothing to the brain. The seal could be something that is not supposed to be felt or I can honestly forget how the seal feels." Maximum replied.

"Alright. Just rest up and head out in a few hours. I am going to hunt a few animals." Rex said.

Rex felt that the eyes were still on him. This made him realize that something was amiss from the depths of the tomb.

"Explain." Rex said.

The eyes opened a portal in front of Rex.

"I am the Demon King of the Forbidden Area. I want to reassure you that Maximum's memory from being down here has been erased. Although, talking to a Demon King yourself, the situation that he needs to be aware of is a powerful one.

Will you make sure that his new Soul Mate and wife do not fight each other? Or will there be conflicts with what I am saying?"

Rex responded with, "Anyone who needs to explain what is going to happen needs to be the Disciple going back with Maximum. For the journey, he will need food in his stomach."

The Demon King of the Forbidden Area told the Sect Disciple what needed to be told to his wife and Soul Mate. The Disciple was afraid of messing with the wrong words.

A paper was handed to him to learn what was needed to be said. Once the meal got prepared, the group ate. Once finished, Maximum and the Disciple returned to the Sect.
