As Rex and Iris watched as Maximum and the Sect Disciple return to the Ninth Realm. Iris got the feeling that Rex could get some alone time with her.
This was all possible because only two tents were set up. The Sect Disciple took his when the group left. Since Iris decided to forget hers. This made the opportunity truly fruitful.
"Come on, let us spend some time together." Iris said pointing to the tent.
With a heart full of regret for not thinking about Iris's forgetfulness. Rex could only now suffer while being dragged by Iris.
Once the duo were inside the tent. Iris playfully laid down and got Rex to do so as well.
"I truly love you, Rex. It seems like yesterday that my parents told me to make sure you grow up with a good life." Iris truthfully told Rex what she remembered.
"I am glad that you got to be a part of my life, Iris. Remember we may not always be right, but I will still love you." Rex replied.
The duo would spend time trying to get some game. Although it was naturally easy for them. The duo would try to make it fun to be out in the wilderness.
As the day would go by. If neither one could get any wild animal. The one who lost more times would have to fish close by.
That was easier said than done. The river had little fish at the good fishing spot. One either had to hope to get the first bite up or lose the fishing rod they had.
The duo spent four days doing this. Only one day did the duo have to fish, which was the last day. Iris was the unlucky one to have to fish. She could not get the fishing line into the river.
With the chuckle and a heartfelt tug, the fishing line became Rex's. He got the line out to the river. When the first bite came, he succeeded in pulling the fish ashore.
Iris was more than happy. She begged Rex to try the toss again. Rex was nervous but went with it.
The second cast was successful. The fish brought ashore was smaller than the first. This caused Rex to try and cast a third time. This time he truly felt the anger of the river. He decided not to cast the line and take the smaller fish for himself.
The duo ate. They fell asleep peacefully. Liz, Margaret, Amber, Violet, and Bella found the duo enjoying themselves. They kept their distance until the fifth day. Where they could not hold back their jealous natures.
Once the campsite was broken down. The group headed back in preps for entering the Fifth Realm.
