The Thanksgiving ended with smiles and laughter throughout the night. Most of the people were drunk, the ones who were not. Decided that the next day be a rest day before the week continues with work.
The next day came, most people were still too drunk to even think about work. The ones who could were barely able to contain the wine inside of them.
Rex left his house barely before dawn. He went to see the construction on the wall. He really needed to know how much longer it would take.
Upon finding one of the wall construction managers. Rex immediately got his attention. The male stood straight like a pole. He did not know why Rex was calling him.
"How much longer until the wall is done?" Rex demanded the answer.
"If everything goes well the next month. Probably a week after and the wall will be done for the most part. There will still be spots that need extra stones placed around and replaced. Nothing that should be major." The manager replied.
"Why do stones need to be replaced for?" Rex asked.
"When we were placing. Some of them were sturdy on the outer coverings but we found that the inner core was hollow or extremely fragile. We cleaned the mortar from underneath to allow us to replace the stones while trying to keep on track on the completion." The manager replied.
"Good." "Make sure that everything is in order correctly. I have a feeling that we will need ballistic arrow mounts on the wall. That will prove to be a massive undertaking. We could find other methods as well." Rex spoke his inner thoughts out loud.
"Ballistic arrow mounts, Leader?" The manager asked.
"I am sorry. I did not mean to let that out." Rex laughed.
Inwardly, he was crying like a baby who lost his suckered.
"Will you please tell me about this ballistic arrow mount?" The manager asked.
Rex went with the manager to get the picture of the mount. The manager was shocked at how much power could be shot in the arrow. The problem became that the arrows would have to be solid trees and the trees were not going to come from the Foxmen Tribe.
"As for now, that can wait. We are in no rush because I have began to feel the shadow world of myself and he is not prepared to launch the invasion. I honestly do not know if it is because of the Nine Tailed Calamity and its siblings or what. However, I promise that when the invasion happens. There will be roaring wildfires, collapse of civilations, beasts will no longer roam freely, and whoever is left will not be many." Rex said his heart paving the path.
"We will try to prove that this will ultimately be the best way to win." The manager said.
"How many stones will need to be replaced?" Rex asked.
"So far, there are twenty that will need to be replaced." The manager replied.
"I guess I will be returning to Earth sooner than I expected." Rex thought.
"Thank you. I must return to my house now. Do not replace those stones and keep them free to be pushed." Rex answered.
"Such a strange order to hear. Why would he not want the stones to be changed when that weakens the wall?" The manager questioned.
Rex returned to his house. He had to get the ball rolling on the weapons his town will be needing.
Rex entered and the women were already downstairs upset that Rex had left before dawn.
Upon calming the women down. Rex began to explain what he had envisioned.
"So far, there are twenty stones that will need replaced. Lilith, I will need to go to Earth and gather the weapons that will be used. Those weapons should be easily found. If not, then we can always get the upgraded weapons." Rex smiled.
Gulping was all that could be heard. Weapons that the wall would use was unheard of. As for the first five women, they knew the weapons that would be used.
"How soon will you leave?" Iris asked.
"Honestly, I want to leave immediately. I know that will be hard on the Nine Tailed Calamity. I have decided, to try and have the baby with her. I will ask that the baby stay close to us after whatever the feeding process is for them. I just hope that nothing bad happens." Rex answered honestly.
"Do not worry, Rex. We will all have time to prepare incase something happens. Worst case scenario, we keep Ophiuchus away and have her kill the baby if we need to." Liz said sorrowfully.
The group felt even worst after hearing such a comment. That was the best idea for the group.
"Well, I am going to head over there. Please be mindful of the circumstances we will have to do." Rex said.
The group ate breakfast. Rex was the first to leave. He honestly felt too depressed to linger around other depression.
Once Rex was far enough away.
"Alright ladies. We will have to prepare everything we can to give Rex the best Christmas we can honestly give him." Violet commanded.
"What is Chris mass?" The Nine Tailed Queen asked.
"It is a time of giving gifts. It was a special time on Earth to remember the birth of a person named, Christ. We will not go into that. Trees would be cut down and special lights and ornaments would be placed. Even though children took it as one of the most special days in the year. It was truly a time worth sharing with friends and family. Like the Thanksgiving feast we just had, but with gifts instead of memories." Liz explained.
"Okay. So what will we be getting Rex for Chris mass?" The Nine Tailed Queen asked.
"Several things from Earth. Since we know Lilith can enter, there should be some others that can." Iris spoke with an evil glint in her eyes.
"He wanted some weapons. What kind of weapons would go inside the wall?" Bella asked.
"Cannons and heavy artillery." Margaret said joyfully.
Also the room felt that Margaret would want to have two on her shoulders to prove how much she loved them.
(A/N Margaret just enjoys watching them go off. She would not even go near them if not for the aftershock.)
The women began to plan who would enter the Heavenly Realm to get the weapons that Rex wanted. Even more so, they wanted to go there and get any kind of special gift that was available.
