"Master Rex told me to clean the campsite. So Margaret and I will not only make sure that this area is presentable but also organized." I wrote in my dairy inside the maid tent.
I went out of the maid tent and walked towards Margaret, who had an unusual smile.
"Is something good happening that I need to inform Lilith of?" I asked.
"A wonderful time for one of us." Margaret replied.
The vampire maids that Master Rex had captured were more than willing to listen to everything anyone told them. I figured it was because the fact they were scared of Master Rex.
"Vampire Maids. One of you will organize the firewood. Put the bigger pieces over here and the smaller pieces there." I pointed.
They bowed and began to move.
I watched the vampire maid as Margaret, and I began to clean up leaves that fell throughout the night. The vampire maid who was tasked with organizing did a wonderful job.
She used her blood to gently pick up all the larger pieces and stack them in a nice fashion. Once, she reached a height of about two feet. She increased the length of the stack.
I figured she would just make another stack. To my surprise, once the length was about three feet long. She went and started another stack.
There were a lot fewer pieces. So it was not long until she had finished her first task. She began to utilize her blood to quickly pick up all the small sticks.
She was done before my mom could even have a chance to bend over and grab two plates. All the small sticks were placed where they were supposed to be.
I found this extremely frustrating. I wanted her to spend more time in the camp so we could talk.
To make my matters when more upsetting. Her friend came with a large bundle of wood in her arms and on her back using her blood to hold them.
Blinking twice was all it took for the vampire maids to quickly go back into woods and gather more wood. All the wood that was brought was placed in a neat fashion against the other stack.
"So much for having time to learn about them." I said.
Margaret found what I said funny. I did not. I need to know as much as my Master. If not, who will depend on me when I need the information to explain something?
No one. So I have to gather my knowledge so that no one will feel left out or I need to explain something to someone.
I saw Lilith coming out of her tent. She was dressed in her relaxed clothes. I was amazed at how relaxed she was. Normally, she would always wear her battle clothing, even in such nice places.
I knew that marrying Master Rex was the correct decision. I am glad that she looks and honestly is better.
I know she hurts deep inside being away from Master Rex. I hope that she will come back soon and at least give a chance to build a better home for everyone here in the Third Realm.
"What is bothering you, Mistress Lilith?" I asked.
"Nothing, just watching everyone." Lilith replied.
"If you need anything. Please allow me or Margaret to go get it for you." I bowed.
"Such an upset maid trying to make me feel better." Lilith giggled.
Was I upset? Yes.
Was I trying to make her feel better? Maybe.
Did I want to hear laughter from Mistress Lilith? No.
Everyone who hears her laugh is doomed to die. I clinched my fists in the hope that I would live.
Surprisingly, I found a hand patting my head. I looked up to see Lilith patting my head.
It felt good, really good, to be honest.
"I only laugh when something truly hurts me. Once I am hurt enough, I make sure to wipe that out. I will not hurt you since you belong to Rex. Make no mistake, if you try to destroy what he is trying to do. I will personally send the entire army just to kill you."
I was shocked that Mistress Lilith would even think of such. I only wanted what was best for Master Rex. If I knew that I was hurting anyone, I would immediately apologize and return it peacefully.
"Did I truly make someone feel that way?" I sorrowfully asked.
"Not that I know of. This is just a reminder so that you know what happens in the future." Lilith explained.
"Thank you!" I hugged her.
"Come, on now." Lilith replied after being hugged for a few minutes.
I went and started a little lunch. It was mainly just some vegetables and a meat wrapped up in a poisonous leaf.
Once it is fully cooked. You just eat the meat or only the vegetables. Due to the cooking process, one person will die eating both. Eating one grants all the flavors of both sides. Eating both gets enough poison into the blood to kill most Mortal Cultivators.
The leftovers are always burned. This is to protect animals from becoming poisoned and spreading it around.
Lilith and I ate the first batch. The vampire maids quickly tasted one batch before leaving again. Margaret finished the meat from that batch.
Two batches were made for the Warrior Faction. Each of them took such small portions of each that they did not get poisoned. That was until they started having watered crap come out of their asses.
It was disgusting to hear and talk about. That is what they get for testing the waters. It was not much longer, and Iris, Liz, and Violet all returned.
Margaret and I finally had agreed on what we were cooking for supper. This was only because we felt that any longer would make everyone just laugh at us.
We argued for hours. I want to say for about three hours, but it may have been a little longer or shorter.
Once Master Rex came back. We found everything to be presentable around the campsite. He praised us for doing a great job.
That was not all. He then would talk about several carts that needed to be built immediately.
Margaret and Amber were supposed to be with the Builder Faction tomorrow for that.
Lilith was going to be able to follow Master Rex into the Labyrinth of Unholy. The condition was that I would always be in front of her.
As for Iris, Violet, and Liz. They were to prepare large Water Reservations to ensure that the city being built could last.
I went into the maid tent with Amber, Margaret, and the two vampire maids. We talked about what all happened inside the Labyrinth of Unholy.
