While Rex was pulling on the rusted handle. Lilith noticed slight differences each time his Strength Stat increased. She could not tell what it was.
When she finally noticed Rex disappear. She felt that he disappeared from her Soul Mate process.
"HUSBAND!" Lilith cried.
Tears rolled down her face as she tried to figure out what was going on. Her Soul hurt, and her eyes did not believe what they saw.
Deathholder grabbed Lilith and helped her to the silver platform. He wanted her to make sure everything was okay in person.
When the duo appeared on the platform in the World Mountain. Lilith's nightmare was reality.
"My Husband is dead." Her sorrowful voice let out.
Mera and Mira still thought that Rex was alive. This was mainly intuitive, but the Demon God wanted his best servant to at least touch the rusted handle.
He gently carried Lilith to the sandy area. He finally took a step to the back of the World Mountain. When he did, he felt nothing.
"What happened?" He thought.
He instantly made it to the top. When he arrived, everyone thought it was a fluke.
"The pressure is gone from back here." The Demon God shouted.
In times past, people could hear what was said. Now, no one could even see the mouth move.
He began to search for the rusted handle. He could not find it. Everyone thought it was funny that a God was having trouble.
Mera and Mira knew that something had gone extremely wrong. They drew the location of the rusted handle.
Mera went to the back of the mountain first. She realized what had happened.
"I have to return," she said and followed her decision.
"There is no longer any pressure on the mountain." Mera spoke.
Everyone began whispering about what could have happened to Rex. Since there was no more pressure. They could see the rusted handle.
Mera roared as loud as she could. A rock slightly moving caught the Demon God's attention. He saw that they had drawn a location of the rusted handle.
He went over and placed his right hand on the tip of the handle. He moved his left hand so that it looked funny to have a hand through the handle.
Mera and Mira noticed the hand difference first. Slowly, the facade became clearer. The rusted handle had disappeared with Rex.
Lilith could feel her Soul slowly disappearing. Everyone watched as the color on Lilith's face began to turn pale. Eventually, she passed out. When death came along to set her free,
Meanwhile, on the flower field
Rex was running away from thousands of sparkles that floated in the air. He did not understand why there were so many.
He got himself a break when he noticed the sparkles stopped following him. He felt that his strength was nowhere near where it was before.
He felt that at most, his Strength Stat was at 25,000. This made Rex wonder what happened.
Suddenly, a huge sparkle appeared in front of Rex. He darted off to the side. He was not going to allow any sparkle to get close to him.
While he was running, he finally saw a dark spot. He ran towards that dark spot. The huge sparkle stopped in front of Rex again.
Rex rolled out of the way. He continued his trek towards the dark area.
The thousands of sparkles started to block Rex's path. Rex did not know if he could go through them or not.
Suddenly, the giant sparkle stopped in front of the other sparkles. This made Rex turn around and run in the other direction.
Once the sparkles started to follow Rex again. Rex darted in between them.
This made the sparkles upset. They tried to reblock Rex from entering the dark spot.
Rex was able to push through and enter the dark area. When he did, he felt millions of eyes lock unto him.
Rex felt even better than before. Why? He had no idea where he was, but he knew these things were hostile. He would fight against them. The sparkles he did not know what or who they were.
Instead of fighting them, he had decided to run away. He did not know what provoking them would do. He began to fight strange dog-like creatures.
At the border of the dark area
"He entered?" The giant sparkle spoke in a language that was not humanoid.
"Yes." Several small sparkles replied in the same language.
"Why was he running from us?" The giant sparkle asked.
"We do not know. When we first approached him. He seemed to be afraid of us." A sparkle came from behind.
"Afraid, huh?" The giant sparkle replied.
The giant sparkle let a small amount of Qi flow out. When it did, the sparkle became a fairy.
She was roughly three feet tall with a flowery purple crown, yellow eyes, and two pink wings that were two feet long and wrapped themselves around the fairy.
Several small sparkles showed their fairy selves. Their colors were all over the place. From bright red and yellow to brown and almost black.
"Do not worry, my dears. I will have the human help each of you." The giant fairy said.
"Thank you, mother. I know my time is almost up." The almost black fairy said.
It was resisting the urge to enter the dark spot. It wanted Rex to see what happens.
In the dark spot
Rex finally pierced the seventh dog-like creature. When he did, a notification came through.
"The Fairy Mother wishes for you to help her."
[Yes] [No]
Rex let the question stay up. He was not too thrilled about helping right now. He had found something to help him become stronger. He wanted to use every moment he could.
Rex beheaded the eighth dog-like creature. When he did, he got another notification.
"There is a fairy that wishes to be released from this dark spot. Will you help it?"
[Yes] [No]
Rex clicked on Yes. He did not want to leave this area. He was willing to help release fairies if they were trapped.
A pinkish purple light vibrated through the dark spot. This made all the fairies blink twice and then celebrate. One of their kind had been released.
The Fairy Mother tightened herself up. She wanted to know if the human had done it or not. She would find out later. It was not Rex who did it but someone more powerful.
