I decided to take a short rest. I wanted to keep rushing the weapons. Since my first weapon took nearly nine hours to complete. I knew that I could not be hasty with next.
I decided to go for the bow. While it was easier to make. The bow this time could only be made with aluminum.
I did not understand why. I did put the bow forge out. For whatever reason, I can only make one bow. That was even with the Spider Queen going and getting cans.
She started by slicing drink boxes in half. She made a ball and put all the aluminum can halves in there.
Once she had visited three or four stores. She came back. When she came back, the cans cleaned themselves. Once each half was clean, they went inside the furnace to be melted.
She did all of this within four hours. Once I got up, I started making the bow.
The process was similar to the sword. The biggest difference was smoothing out all the rough edges. I made a steel shield to block attacks from the sides and back.
That was easy to make. I made three wall shields that towered just barely over me. I took them out and got them wielded together.
The string was steel wire that I made myself. That made the bow a unique weapon.
The reason why I could only make one was because I was the only humanoid in the building.
Once a unique weapon is made. It goes to the closest humanoid present or to the one that touches it first.
The bow itself still took nearly seven hours to forge. I was upset at the time it took to forge it. I still had the spear to make.
I had the same choices for the Sword. I chose to make a steel spear. The difference with the bow was that no element was given to it.
Since I also did not have any arrows. I would have to make some. The was not going to be hard at all. I also decided to have Lilith pick some up.
Once, the fixture was ready for my molten steel. I poured it in. The process became similar to the sword.
I got the rough edges off the spear and then sharpened it at the anvil.
I then made sure to melt some more steel. I used this to make a grip. Once the fixture for the grip was ready.
I poured a little molten steel inside. The grip was ready. I covered grip in fabric. I slid it in place and with a small scoop. I laid out a small amount molten around the top of the grip.
This was to get it together. Whatever reason, the guide was telling me to do this.
Once the molten steel cooled, the spear could be used as a javelin.
I equipped the spear with my Water Affinty. Once, I stepped outside after forging for thirteen hours. I saw several Seawater Rats.
I planned to try out each of my weapons before handing them out. I used my bow first.
"Ding"
"While using a bow, you can use Heavenly Qi to make an arrow that goes to the target location."
I pulled my bow back. A faint golden light came up, and an arrow was nocked and ready for flight.
"I want this arrow to go through thirty Seawater Rats."
I released the arrow. I watched as the arrow pierced through thirty Seawater Rats close to the forge.
I was astounded to watch the arrow gracefully pierce each Seawater Rat through the skull.
Next, I pulled out the sword. I saw several Seawater Rats rushing towards me. I went and began to slice each one without any force. I was not using any techniques either.
It was then I heard a deathly cry. Complete dead silence followed until stomping was heard.
It was then that the King Seawater Rat came from the ground in front of me.
I used the spear to hold my position. The King Seawater Rat was actually cute looking at first. Once it opened its mouth and thousands upon thousands of teeth were seen.
I began to fight with the spear. The spear seemed to have a mind of its own. Helping me block claw swipes and tail strikes.
I raised it up in the air and yelled, "IRIS WATCH ME SLAY THIS RAT WITH YOUR WATER AFFINITY!"
I heard a notification.
"The spear is responding to your will. Any time you yell out Iris, the Water Affinty attack is increased by 3%."
I began to feel the entire world in my grasp. I felt the gravity affect me even more than before.
I had to keep my stance. Otherwise, I was not going to last in this fight.
I got the spear into a thrusting position. I forced several jet propelled water spears into the King Seawater Rat.
It did not die at first. I felt even worse now than before. I once again raised my voice.
"IRIS."
I thought it was my imagination at first. I saw a figure of Iris standing there smiling at me.
I felt my heart want to give all to her at that moment.
"Twin Spear Art: Water Dragon Piercing Spears" my heart yelled out.
Suddenly, both me and the Iris I see have Dragon Shaped Spears piercing the King Seawater Rat.
All the other Seawater Rats ran away. My Fire Imperial Camouflage Beast was breathing fire out.
The rats did not stand a chance.
I went and rechecked on the Spear.
"Perfect Water Element Common Grade Pure Heavenly Steel Spear"
"Due to the Water Affinity associated inside this spear, once Rex calls out for Iris. The Spear will respond. The second time Iris is called. A vision of Iris will be seen, and the two hearts will call out a Spear Water Art."
I thought about the way the sword could also be used like that. My heart got to pumping in excitement.
