Chapter 171 - Chapter 171 Common grade

"Ding"

I heard and decided to see what it was.

"There is enough piping to let the water pour over your forged weaponry. Do you wish to make it happen?"

[Yes] [No]

I clicked on Yes.

I watched as piping changed around the forge. It came out to where my forged weapons would be at.

"Ding"

I checked the notification.

"Weapon forge is ready to be placed. Note that only one at a time can be placed. You can always switch weapon forges at any time you are not currently forging."

I knew that.

"Which weapon forge would you like out first?"

[Sword] you can make up to ten

[Spear] you can make up to ten

[Bow] you can only make one

I frowned at the sight of the bow. I decided to try my luck out with the Sword.

"Please choose the Sword metal type."

[Iron] all ten can be made

[Steel] all ten can be made

[Bronze] all ten can be made

I chose the steel sword.

"Do you wish to have help in controlling your first mixture?"

[Yes] [No]

Of course I pressed Yes.

A large bowl with melted ore was in front of me. I large rod stood out of the bowl.

"Please grab the rod."

I grabbed the rod.

I watched as the rod spun around, and my Heavenly Qi went into the rod.

"This steel sword will be at common grade."

"This steel sword as a small chance to become a Pure Heavenly Steel Sword."

I paid no attention to the notifications. They did ring inside my ear.

"Let go of the rod once the mixture turns bright orange."

I kept watching and spinning it until it turned bright orange.

I watched the mixture pour into the sword fixture. It was truly a sight to see me watching the liquid steel being poured.

I was like a child watching his or her new favorite superhero. I was truly happy and excited to watch this process.

"Use your Water Affinity to cool the fixture. It will also quicken the hardeneding process."

I made a water ball and covered the fixture. One could hear the sizzling of the water. There was no steam or anything like that. I had to keep my hand on the water ball. It was to keep the water from becoming too hot.

"Ding"

I opened the fixture. A steel sword was in front of me.

"This sword has no edge on it. Please use your Heavenly Qi on the hammer to give this weapon an edge."

I placed the sword on the anvil. The first swing, a rainbow, appeared from my hit.

"That hit was done at the right place. Follow the rainbow now to get a perfect weapon."

I focused my eyesight. I saw a faint rainbow. I struck it there next.

I was pleased to see that I could find a way to make it possible to get a perfect grade weapon. That hit made the next rainbow brighten up.

I hit the rainbow again. I continued this process until the entire sword was covered in a rainbow.

"This sword has the qualification to become a Perfect Common Grade Steel Sword."

"This sword has the qualification to become a Perfect Common Grade Pure Heavenly Steel Sword."

"If you happen to achieve either one of these effects on this sword. All Steel Swords you create after this will be that same grade."

"When you finally upgrade the common grade on a steel sword to an uncommon grade. All effects from the Common Grade will transfer over to it."

I was nervous. I wanted this sword to be as perfect as possible. I did not know what would happen.

Instead of hitting the sword this time. I slowly began to sharpen it. I wanted it to be perfect for my first time.

I went and started making the hilt. I wanted this to be a reflection of something I would want on my perfect sword.

The Spider Queen and I went and searched for any kind of fabric and jewels. She found some diamonds and pearls at a jewelry shop.

I went to a shoe store. I first took all the shoe string off. Next, I visited a local grocery store.

I wanted any and all fabric. I just grabbed whatever I could. By the time we had done these parts, it was almost midnight.

I used the shoe string to start where my fabric would be used to hold the end of the hilt.

The Spider Queen cut some fabric and followed my directions. I used the biggest diamond the Spider Queen had taken.

I wrapped the end of the fabric around it. Slowly, I worked my way back up. Once I had finished the layout of it.

The hilt looked like three different dragons were fighting for the chance to grab the diamond.

I used the Spider Queen's thread to cut a place for the pearls on the sword.

Once the pearls were placed, I went and poured a little more molten steel on top. Once it hardened, I did the same for the back side.

I once again had to rehammer the sword. This time, the rainbow was even harder to see. The Spider Queen could see it herself. She helped me point them out.

I raised the sword up into the air. I felt amazed by how much effort I had put into this sword already. Now it was nearly 3:00 a.m.

I sharpened the blade again. Once the rainbow appeared again all over like it did the first time. I hit the sword with all my might, using my fist, and forced nearly all of my Heavenly Qi into it.

"Ding"

I was afraid to see what this sword grade was based on.

"Rex, that sword is amazingly awesome." The Spider Queen told me.

I decided to see what this sword grade was.

"Congratulations, you can put a singular Element you control unto this sword."

"This sword has the qualification to become a Perfect Elemental Common Grade Steel Sword."

"This sword has the qualification to become a Perfecr Elemental Common Grade Pure Heavenly Steel Sword."

I chose for this sword to wield my Fire Affinity.

"Ding"

I let the notification ring in my ear.

"Congratulations, your first weapon to be forged is a Perfect Fire Elemental Common Grade Pure Heavenly Steel Sword."

"Due to it being a Common Grade sword, it will not receive a name."

"You can name weapons once they reach at least uncommon grade. It grade is not the only thing that can make a weapon be named. Your heart also has to be willing to name it for a special someone."

Here, I was stuck with an amazing Common Grade sword that I could not name. I was hoping to give it to Lilith, who needs a wedding gift.
