Chapter 126 - Chapter 126 Attacking the Griffon pt 2

In a blink of an eye, Rex, the Griffon, and the other figure were all inside a massive coliseum. Looking at it from the outside, it looked ancient and majestic. Inside the coliseum, it looked like a bad sneeze would make it crumble.

"The Place Where All Guardians Fight." The figure made a call throughout the coliseum.

Rex then saw the Wolf from the First Realm. Several dark figures also made their appearance.

"Great Ninth Realm Guardian, why do you call us?" A woman's voice echoed.

The figure stood there upset. He never knew that anyone would dare question him.

"Do Not Think That I Will Not Kill You. I Will Personally Send You To The Depths Of Hell. Do You Dare Question Me!" The figure answered.

"I am not questioning you. I am curious as to why we were called?" The woman's voice answered.

The answer came back from a slice to where the woman's voice came from. Nothing happened. This surprised the Ninth Realm guardian. It did not know how or why the attack did nothing.

"Always a fighter to the first moment and a loser to the last moment." The woman's voice echoed.

This infuriated the Ninth Realm guardian. He decided to keep calm and listen.

"Why were we the Guardians called?" The woman's voice echoed.

The Ninth Guardian looked up and saw an image of Mera. This shocked him because he knew she should not have any business in this Realm.

"I am the Goddess Mera. My chosen heir, Rex, is going to be fighting a Guardian. Answer me Now!" Mera's voice echoed.

"Hey Mera!" Rex shouted and waved.

Everyone looked at Rex. They did not understand why he was able to she her. Her figure should have been kept a secret, even if she has an heir. The Guardians felt fear from Rex.

"Rex. Explain to me why you are fighting the Griffon." Mera's voice echoed.

"I have a Quest to get multiple Soul Mate. One of my Quests for the first extra Soul Mate is to Tame a one thousand year old female Griffon." Rex replied.

The other Guardians felt their despair. If he had a Quest to Tame the Second Realm Guardian, he could potentially get Quests to deal with them.

"So you finally met that being." Mera closed her eyes.

When the Guardians heard what Mera said. The despair they felt became hatred and guilt. The hatred because of Rex and the unknown person. Guilt because they knew that the Second Realm Guardian would lose. Since they had tormented her for ages, they would not be able to get forgiveness from her.

Rex and the Griffon stood apart from each other. The Griffon knew she was going to lose, but she would lose doing her best.

Rex closed in quickly. With a single punch, he blew away the back side of the coliseum.

The Guardians looked at Rex. His fighting style seemed like a Body Cultivator, yet he has Mortal Qi flowing through his veins.

The Guardians cheered the Griffon on. She was quite happy with them. She darted across the arena.

With a single swipe of her claws, she destroyed part of the ground. The Guardians cheered loudly for her.

The Griffon saw Rex perfectly fine. She did not know what to think. She had used nearly all of her Mortal Qi in that singular move. If she used her Heavenly Qi, the fight would be over already.

Sensing something coming from Rex. The Guardians kept their gaze on him.

"I cannot win unless I use all my strength by using 200 Heavenly Qi. I also do not know what Heavenly Qi attacks do." Rex thought.

In that moment, Rex unlocked all of his strength and used 800 Heavenly Qi around his fist.

The Guardians all stood up. Not a single one knew where Rex came from, nor how he became Mera's heir, and finally, they knew that this attack would nearly kill the Griffon.

With Rex pushing the Heavenly Qi through his fist, he shouted, "Nine Dragons Fist Art: Dragonic Fist."

A dragon's face made out of the Heavenly Qi was formed. The strength of that attack was on par with a Second Heavenly Realm Master attacking.

The dragon fist connected with the Griffon. In that moment, both Rex and the Griffon knew that death was coming.

Rex knew because he felt the entire body of the Griffon. He had plenty of killing experience to know. When using Qi to kill someone or something, your Qi will spread. Only those who know who to control it can just cripple people easily. Rex has not used Heavenly Qi in attacking. This made him completely unaware of how much it actually does to someone or something.

The Griffon knew that death was coming because when the attack touched her. She felt more Heavenly Qi inside of Rex. Even if she blocked most of this attack, Rex would more than likely attack again. She decided to just let death take her.

"NO!" Rex shouted.

He did not want to kill the Griffon he knew who would be his only chance to get multiple Soul Mate. Here, he accidentally killed her. He was completely upset.

The Griffon had a bloody smile, looking up at her lifelong companions, who were always upset and fighting with her.

"Hopefully, I will reincarnate into something better." The Griffon thought.

Before she closed her eyes, she felt Heavenly Qi being pushed into her. She turned her head and saw Rex trying to force his Heavenly Qi out of her body.

With Mortal Qi, one could force out Mortal Qi with equal or stronger Mortal Qi. Heavenly Qi is different. To force the Heavenly Qi out, one must have perfect control over it.

The Griffon closed her eyes and felt the clash of Rex's Heavenly Qi inside her body. When the two collided, she felt her organs almost become mush. She gritted her teeth hard and continued to let Rex finish her off.

The Guardians saw what was going on and knew that Rex was trying his best to save the Griffon. They all jumped down.

Rex saw them come closer but only the Wolf still he knew.

"Move it or lose your chance." The Wolf growled.

Rex stopped shoving his Heavenly Qi inside the Griffon. He stepped back and watched the other Guardians all heal up the Griffon.

Even she was surprised to see everyone saving her. She truly felt happy for having great enemies in the past and present.

What is worse than a known enemy?

A friend who betrays you and leaves you behind.

She got healed enough to weakly stand up. When she did, she looked at Rex.

"I lost this fight." She bowed and got help raising her head.

Rex felt upset for attacking her in that manner.
