"If Family truly matters to you. I have multiple women who want to become my Soul Mate. I have a Quest to get an extra Soul Mate. Will you please grant me the pleasure of taming you?"
The Griffon looked at Rex at complete stupidity. It had never heard of anyone getting more than one Soul Mate.
That did not mean it was possible. There were three Gods and Goddesses whom the Griffon learned of while being a guardian. Upon learning that they did extremely hard Quests to become Gods and Goddesses. She did not like the fact that someone this young could afford multiple women, much more than one Soul Mate.
"Such stupidity. There is not a God or Goddess that can change the fact of having ONE SOUL MATE." The Guardian yelled at the end.
With this declaration, Rex stood looking directly into the eyes of the Griffon. He knew this would be the only Griffon that could live to be one thousand years old. He wanted to tame her peacefully.
"Does this mean we have to fight?" Rex felt his heart ache.
He did not want to hurt a guardian. It hurt him even worse that she would be the only one he could tame.
"We shall see if you can pass my three tests before our fight." The Griffon held her chest high.
"What are the tests?" Rex asked with curious eyes.
"First, you must be able to take away my health points. Second, you must be able to reach the Fifth Realm while climbing the stairs. Third, you must," the Griffon thought about it.
"I will wait for the Third Quest for my taming."
Rex looked at her. He got into a fighting position. She nodded no.
"I said those Quests, but I did not say that you could choose which order to do them in." This infuriated Rex.
He wanted to see if he could damage her.
"Please start the climb." The Griffon said.
Rex took his first step. The burden on him was much more than the First Realm.
"Do not forget. This Stairway, I did set it to the Fifth Realm. If you can not climb to the point of return, you can not tame me." The Griffon gloated.
Rex gritted his teeth. He pushed himself forward. Each step felt more and more painful and stressful.
The steps were not supposed to be this strong. Due to Rex's already maxed out Body Cultivation Qi, he was able to endure more of this pain. If he did not, the stress on his body would have split him in half already.
Once Rex reached the third step, the pressure went away, and he cultivated.
"He is not stupid but has stupid ideals." The Griffon thought.
Rex had cultivated until pressure began to hit him again. He looked, and he was still on the same spot. This made Rex question how strong the Fifth Realm truly was.
He got up and took another step, and the pressure nearly forced Rex to his knees.
"Wonderful! You have made it to the Third Realm." The Griffon spoke loudly.
Rex felt that this would take forever, but he continued his way forward. He slowly began to feel lightheaded. He did not understand why he was. It was only the second step after crossing the Third Realm.
Once Rex took the sixth step, he found a place to cultivate again. So he did.
"Truly remarkable." The Griffon thought.
Rex gritted his teeth when the pressure on him increased again.
He continued the path. Finally, after the tenth step in the Third Realm.
"You have crossed into the Fourth Realm." The Griffon again spoke loudly.
Rex felt his body was about to go limp. Rex did not know if he would be able to hurt the Griffon like this.
Rex took the first step into the Fourth Realm. He got on one knee.
"Are you being forced down by the pressure, or are you forfeiting the right to tame me?" The Griffon asked loudly.
"The pressure!" Rex almost shouted.
The Griffon smiled. She knew that Rex could not make it to the Fifth Realm. She did not want Rex to be forced back by this pressure.
"Alright, kiddo, I will personally set up another cultivation point in two steps. You will still have your randomized cultivation point. Please entertain me." The Griffon played on.
Rex forced his Body Cultivation Qi out. Since it was at the Ninth Realm, the pressure was reduced greatly.
This hurt the Griffon's pride. She felt the Body Cultivation Qi before but feeling how great it is now. She had taken a blow that she did not want.
Rex got to the cultivation point and cultivated. Once he started the cultivation.
Inside Rex's mind
"Greetings, how is the trial of taming this Griffon?" The person who told Rex about the extra Soul Mate Quests.
"Not well, but this is the only the beginning." Rex answered.
The person smiled and left Rex to tame the Griffon.
When Rex exited his cultivation
Rex stood up and fully released his Tamer and Body Cultivation to the max.
He no longer cared about holding back. He wanted the women who cared about him. To form a Soul Mate with him, because he not only wants them to be happy. He found that his happiness makes them happy.
Rex forced his way up. When he got to the Eighth Step, he cultivated again. This cultivation only lasted about five minutes before the pressure came back.
Rex went and got to the tenth step and returned to the Griffon.
The Griffon herself had not gotten the knowledge if Rex passed or not. Rex himself thought it was funny how he returned. He felt that he was rejected, but the feeling of passing was still there.
"I feel like you did not pass, but the point of return also feels like it did activate." The Griffon spoke.
Rex looked at her. He knew that she was the final decision, and this upset him. He would not say anything that could hurt his relationship thus far.
The Griffon looked behind her. She saw a black figure standing behind her.
"You Dare To Force Someone Above Your Grade?" The Black figure shook the Stairway.
"It is a test for him. He wants to Tame me." The Griffon answered.
The Black figure looked at Rex. It felt that Rex was a threat.
"In the Third Realm, you will face Two Thousand Demons. When and where you enter the domain is up to me. No one will know where it shall take place." The Black figure slapped Rex.
It turned to the Griffon.
"As for you, I shall force you to fighr him at his level." It slapped the Griffon.
Thr Griffon felt her pride torn to pieces because of Rex. First, he made it to the Fifth Realm. Second, she got slapped by the Ninth Realm's Guardian. Lastly, the Quests she had for Rex were no longer valid.
