Rex ended up sleeping the entire night. Sachie felt the night was wonderful sleeping beside her sister and lover. Olivia felt guilty for stinking up her sister's bed but Sachie did not want either one of them to take a bath.
News of the final Priest's death reached the city. Everyone was worried about who was going to die next. Rex had decided to wait on his reward until his parents came back.
Sachie became worried every time that Rex left a Priest died. She understood that some things are better left untold. She needed the truth and wanted Rex to tell it.
"I hope he does." Sachie felt the love in her heart.
She knew that even if he lied, she would know. She also knew that everything needed a specific time and place.
Rex finally woke up seeing Olivia next to him. Sachie had already slid Olivia over closer to Rex. She hoped that her beautiful face would make Rex love her more. She also wanted it to be a special love.
"Oh the wonders." Sachie sneakily went downstairs after she moved Olivia.
Rex saw his arms were currently around Olivia. His right arm under her head, his left ended up inside the back of her shirt. Rex did not know how this happened.
"Please tell me I did not do this." Rex prayed.
A notification popped up in his menu.
"From the Goddesses,
We wanted you to tell Sachie the truth and in order to do that. You needed a trigger that would make you sit tight." (+_+) :-)
Rex's jaw dropped when he saw the notification. He did not know the Goddesses could intervene so personally in his life. Also, the fact that they sent a message directly. Rex wondered what was next for his system.
Olivia then woke up seeing Rex's arms around her. She began to blush so hard that her entire body turned red. Rex slowly tried to move his arms.
Once Olivia caught wind of Rex's arm in her shirt. She then began to growl because of her anger. She did not want Rex's hands on her now.
"See what I do now." The redness from her blushing was now pure rage.
Rex quickly left the room with Olivia trying to grab his skull. She wanted to pound it with her fist. Even if he begged, she would not stop until her sister asked.
"Come back here!" Olivia growled.
When she finally caught him. Sachie was watching the show of a lifetime. Seeing her sister act like a little girl in love. The little boy who did not want to admit that he loved her.
The punching to make it seem like a grand act was going to be spectacular. The girl continued to punch until she felt the boy learned his lesson. The boy who cried made the scene look real.
"The wonders of love." Sachie thought.
Before Olivia could start doing more damage to Rex.
"What a great show you two put on. I could not have asked for a better get up than this. I hope your love blooms even more violently than what I saw." Sachie joyfully joked.
Hearing her sister, Olivia felt that her world had just been shattered. She had full rage against Rex and meant every punch she let go. Her sister thought it was a joke.
"Sister please let me explain." Olivia said.
"No need. Love has many forms and waves. Yours is just growing just like you are. There is no need to explain yourself." Sachie said with a glamorous smile.
Olivia felt that her rage was nothing more than a joke to her sister at this point. She sorrowfully dragged Rex to the couch.
"Do what you want then." Olivia said depressed.
She had vented all of her anger out just to have a wonderful sister play with it. Even the most angry man would not believe his ears.
"Rex honey, who killed the Priests?" Sachie asked.
Rex looked at her with his head pounding from the punches. He knew this moment would come but his heart was not ready to tell.
"He killed the Priests. Darkily and I helped in killing their bodyguards." Olivia said.
Hearing the news from Olivia. Sachie was a little angry at her sister. Even if Rex lied to her now, she felt her heart would not know the difference.
"Olivia." Sachie's voice was deep and angry.
Olivia immediately kissed her sister on the cheeks. Knowing she was about to get an ear full of nonsense, she tried to run away.
Rex caught her by her pants and between the two. A ripping noise was heard and Olivia felt her inside twitch as Rex slowly turned around.
"DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?" Olivia asked.
"No but you will stay." Rex said in a commanding voice.
Olivia felt angry. She had never let her anger get the better of her in a long time. Here she was with an eighteen year old boy. He had won her sister's heart and she was playing with hers. The ticking bomb wanted to explode.
"I will explain properly." Rex said.
Olivia then got pulled to the couch by Sachie. Rex mustered up his courage to explain the details.
"I had gotten the Quest to kill the Four Priests. What I did not know was how many more people had to be killed." Rex looked down.
Olivia knew better than to go hug Rex. She knew he had to suffer for what he had done. Sachie wanted to hear the whole story before she did anything at all.
"The final Priest told me before I beheaded him. "I always wanted a better life. The life I got doing this Priest stuff was not what I wanted at all. Please respect my wish and let my body rot in whatever hole you find." I knew the Priests had done some shady stuff but killing him made my heart drop. I truly do not know if the others were too involved and did not want to die or not."
"The first one I went to the Black Market and found Darkily. We made a bet and I won. With him on my team, I hope to traverse the Realms with more peace of mind. I know deep down, I will never get peace. I have killed too many people both innocent and not, young and old, rich and poor, needed to die and not."
"I have done many more things that I regret now. Simply because of the meeting with the final Priest. Part of what I did was to train my body cultivation and the other part to make money. Now, I hope to live better but every time I twist. I feel an anchor holding me down."
