"I have done many more things that I regret now. Simply because of the meeting with the final Priest. Part of what I did was to train my body cultivation and the other part to make money. Now, I hope to live better but every time I twist. I feel an anchor holding me down."
Rex rolled up his sleeve. Even though Olivia and Sachie had both seen the tattoo. The two did not think much about it.
"This tattoo is because of my unwillingness to let stuff be stuff. While in the First Realm, I fought a demon. Upon fighting him, I learned what makes the demons bad. A person can use a Soul Attack and the Qi will become demonic after a time. I am not sure if it has to do with one's Soul Qi amount or something else."
"I have not even told my guardians all about this. Here I am talking to my concubines about this."
Rex felt disheartened.
Sachie stood up and kissed him. Olivia went behind her sister and hugged him. She felt all the anger in her body leave. Nothing was left but pure admiration.
She knew how hard one had to work to let everything out. Rex had just done so to people who should not have heard everything.
"I truly hope you love us even more." Sachie said.
"Thank you." Rex was still a little upset.
"You need to think about what you want rather than be held back. Especially when it comes to the higher Realms, one's heart will stop their Cultivation." Olivia explained.
"I will do my best." Rex replied trying to cheer himself up.
Olivia knew that Rex was still upset.
"Ugh." Olivia decided to cheer up Rex.
She went over, picking up Rex she allowed him to use her lap.
"I am only doing this because you need your heart cleared of everything." Olivia said.
Sachie was so overwhelmed with joy that she nearly jumped in and joined. Instead she noticed how Olivia began to gently pat Rex's head.
"They need this time." Sachie thought.
She just waved goodbye with a smirk on her face. Knowing that the two would use this time to get closer, she hoped that they would become Soul Mates.
Walking to school, Sachie began humming a song of love.
This caught the attention of several people. Women would usually hum that song when they were in love, very few would do it for their family.
All the women that heard the song, told their husbands, brothers, sons, boyfriends, fiancees, neighbors, even men inside their shops.
"Do not bother that family right now."
The men who heard it wanted to jump to her. Knowing her, it was for her sister. They did not want to do anything to damage their relationship.
Inside the school, all paperwork that should have been done that day by Sachie. That paperwork was spread out across the teachers.
People had already spread the rumors of the Headmaster's sister falling in love. Eventually Sachie heard it and secretly found it amusing because it was the both of them that found love.
"My sister will enjoy the storm that comes." Sachie spoke but no one dared to be around or in her office.
Eventually news spread to Olivia who became dumbfounded. People thought that she had fallen in love but it was the other way around.
"Why does it always have to fall on me?" Olivia said depressed.
Anything that her sister had done, people usually pointed it towards Olivia. People knew that Sachie worked too hard to fall in love. People also knew that Olivia did many other things besides teaching. That is why they always pointed it towards Olivia.
Olivia kept Rex asleep, she knew the moment he woke up and heard that. He would instantly try to say it was for Sachie. Even though Olivia would appreciate his effort. She needed to think about her emotions and feelings.
"Do I love him or not?" Olivia began to think.
"I found him rather interesting at first." Olivia thought about their first meeting.
She then began to think about when Rex killed the first Priest and everyone inside.
"He truly made it seem easy. Killing that many people in a short amount of time. It shows how much he has killed over the years. It also proves that he would not stand still if something happened to me or sister. I just hope that she will let him have free rein over his life."
"I guess Fenrir will also become his Soul Tame. Eventually, he will become powerful enough to enter the Goddess's Realms. For that to happen he does need a solid Soul Mate and Soul Tame. His Soul Partners are good but the differences are night and day between them."
"The knowledge to get Darkily to be on his side. That shows how friendly and trusting he is. I will pray to the Goddesses that Darkily will remain by side throughout his journey. He does need him to protect his good side."
"His guardians who need him the most. They are truly good. Although Violet is more neutral than the others. They also need him because they love him. I wonder what would happen if multiple people tried to make a Soul Mate at once? I do not think it would end well. I will pray that maybe the answers will come."
"Rex also has the know how to fake his entrance. That is something that I truly hate about him. When he returned from getting Darkily. I had hoped that he had truly gotten help for us. Seeing how he had already killed them, it still saddens my heart."
Olivia thought about all this while planning supper in the middle of town.
She continued to grab a couple of things. Before long, Rex put his hand on her shoulder.
"Who?" Olivia quickly turned around.
Seeing Rex, Olivia felt upset that she wanted to punch him. She was glad she did not because her heart at the moment knew. She loved Rex but did not want to admit it first.
"Rex. What are you doing here?" Olivia felt her heart sink when asking.
"I came here looking for you. I searched the house and finally came out to see where you were. I did not know if something happened to you." Rex replied.
Her heart fluttered like a flag in the wind. She did not know which way to move from that moment.
Rex carried her home. She was still worried about what Rex thought of her. She came to the conclusion to ask.
"When we return home. I want you to tell me what you personally think of me." Olivia whispered.
Rex hurried home.
Upon entering, Rex set Olivia down.
He had thought about how he felt about her. He did not truly know.
"You are truly amazing. You trained yourself to do anything for your sister and I like that about you. You love and cherish your sister so much that anything she wants done. You will make sure it is done. No matter what time of day it is, you are always thinking of your sister and what she needs to get better. I could not think of anyone better to have for a sibling."
Hearing what Rex said, Olivia knew in her heart that it was true. She did not want that knowledge but would accept it for now.
"Later, I want you to tell me what you personally think about me. Will it be love or something else? We will find out later together Rex." Olivia told Rex.
