"Did you by chance already receive your name?" Rex asked.
Layla looked confused. She had been wanting a new name but Rex had not given it to her. She knew something was up because the look on Rex's face was not upset but also not good.
"I have not received my name from you." Layla answers.
Hearing that she did not receive her name. Rex began to think he had not done something right. The dream he had, he clearly remembers that he named her. He also had pain after he had given her a name but still called her Layla. He did not know what happened.
"I have decided on a good name." Rex declared.
Layla perked up, Olivia just waited in anticipation, some people outside the door tried to hear closer, and others were wanting to know what was going on inside.
"Before I give you your name. There is some business we need to take care of first." Rex pointed to the door.
The trio opened the door. Seeing her staff members all have a look of fear from trying to hear the conversation. She began to leak her murderous intent.
"Who shall speak first?" Layla was overly angry.
"We heard something about a name. We were curious about what was getting named." A couple of men answered.
"I see." Layla stomped her foot.
The staff members all left. Seeing them dart off, Rex felt a spark of love from Layla. She had just made sure that no one would disturb them.
"Where were we?" Layla asked forgetting about what Rex was going to do.
"Silly, you were about to get a gift." Olivia answered joyfully.
"That is right." Layla made the oh right fist.
She quickly returned to her seat in greater anticipation of her name.
Olivia felt that her sister was acting like a little child receiving a gift. Rex was surprised at how well Layla, who was about to become Sachie, was behaving after scaring her staff away.
Olivia headed over to Rex's seat and Rex slowly followed. Layla wanted to rush over and help but Olivia held her hand up to prevent it.
Rex sat down and looked at Layla straight into the eyes.
"Your new name shall be Sachie. It is a name that has happiness in its meaning. You are always happy and joyful, that is why I give you that name."
Hearing what her new name is, Sachie was overjoyed. She jumped over her desk and landed on Rex's lap and began kissing him. Olivia blushed seeing how her sister acted in front of her.
"Why?" Olivia cried.
Even though she had thoughts of Rex. She would dismiss them by seeing her sister and Rex together. Although Rex's Soul Partners were female, Olivia did not take them like her own sister.
"I love you." Sachie said before kissing Rex again.
Feeling how happy her sister was. Olivia safely left the room. If Sachie knew her sister was leaving, she would have berated her.
"I am so full of happiness right now." Sachie told Rex.
Sachie finally saw her sister had left. She was worried that her sister did not talk beforehand.
"Sister." Sachie looked around the room again.
Even Rex took a glance. Seeing that Olivia had left, Rex thought that maybe she had gone to teach a class.
Being Sachie's sister, she had the most freedom. When she wanted to teach she did. When she wanted to tort., I mean punish a bad child she did. When Olivia wanted something she got it.
Sachie looked outside her window and saw Olivia had gone to teach. Seeing her nearly kill her students because she was angry at their mastery level.
"I love how straightforward my sister is at teaching but weak to the man in front of her." Sachie spoke.
Rex heard how playful Sachie's voice was. Even he felt that this was overkill. Her happiness was more than what he could know.
"I guess I will rest here for a little while." Rex said.
Sachie now laid out a small blanket and used her thighs for Rex's head.
"Sleep for now, my dearest." Sachie said with love and happiness.
"Thank you." Rex fell asleep immediately.
With all the duties she had to perform that day. She let them be done another day. Simply because she was with the man she loved. She was happy that he also had cherished her enough to care about her sister.
Even though their meeting was not good at first. The weird turns that made this relationship work. Was more than what either one knew. The weirdest part was simply how much Sachie loved Rex.
"Happiness." Sachie thought while Rex was sleeping on her lap.
Seeing him just comfortable and not trying hard. She felt even more happy that he was the man whom her heart got set on. With how bad her first marriage ended, she found solitude with her sister.
With Rex here, her heart finally had a chance to catch up. She always made sure her sister was good. Even when she would be overloaded with work. Her sister being happy meant more to her than herself being happy.
The few times that she would get a surprise from her sister. Made her feel even more happiness and want to care about the loved one she had. Now that Rex came in, she wanted to give him the treatment that she had been giving her sister. She also wanted to give him the treatment that her sister gave her.
"So much happiness that will be brought into his life." Sachie thought.
Rex began to move around in his sleep. He unknowingly wrapped his arms around her. Feeling the warmth of his hug, she began to feel his love too.
"Happiness does not come from just a single side." Sachie said softly.
She wrapped her arms around him and fell asleep while embracing Rex.
If one saw this scene, they would have ended up seeing a different shade of red or orange from the sun glistening in on the sleeping couple. Like a mother holding her child when something bad had happened. The sun made the scene look happy and joyful.
Olivia gently woke up Sachie.
"Time to head home." Olivia said.
Looking outside and seeing the sun nearly gone. Olivia once again carried Rex back home and Sachie wanted to spend the night together with the duo.
