Chapter 64 - Chapter 64 Rex apologized

Waiting for Olivia to help him home. Rex did not want to wait but he wanted to see if she came back for him.

"I hope she returns soon." Rex thought.

Something shiny caught Rex's eyes and he saw Olivia. She had put something on her armor to make it even more shiny.

"She is like an angel that descended." Rex could not help but think seeing the woman clad in armor approach him.

"I am surprised that you stayed here." Olivia said.

Rex just stared into her eyes. He saw the pleasure of dragging the headless corpse around.

"She had a good time." Rex could not help but smile.

Olivia just stood there looking at the pleasant smile. She knew that this boy was affecting her more.

"I truly hope he does not go over our heads again." Olivia thought.

Rex wrapped his arms around her. She slowly began to as well.

"I am not sure if the Goddesses did something that affected us. One thing I know for sure, my feelings towards you and your sister are genuine." Rex told her.

Olivia felt happiness she had not felt in years. She always wanted to prove herself to her sister who always did everything possible for her. Now she was starting to get the feeling of wanting to prove herself to him now.

"We need to get home." Olivia held Rex's arm.

The two slowly made their way home. Rex looked towards a dark alley. Rex saw someone move.

"Darkily, you have more training to do." Rex thought.

With the townspeople all in an uproar about the Priest. Olivia tried to keep Rex close to her.

"Move." Rex shouted.

The townspeople made way while Rex and Olivia walked towards the house. The two happened to stop at a Bakery.

"What do you want fresh?" A young lady asked.

"This, this and this." Rex pointed. "Anything you want?"

Olivia nodded. She then picked out a couple of things. Even though she knew that Rex would use the money she gave him. She appreciated the fact that Rex asked.

Getting a huge load of fresh food. Rex and Olivia continued their way home.

Some of the earlier townspeople kept people out of Rex's and Olivia's way.

Rex then stopped at a bar that was closing.

"Excuse me, can I get a bottle of liquor?" Rex asked entering the building.

A bartender tossed two half bottles and shooed Rex away.

"Thank you greatly sir." Rex caught the bottles.

The bartender watched Rex catch the bottles with ease while carrying food.

"He is a good husband." The bartender thought.

Rex and Olivia continued the path home.

It was shortly after leaving the bar they entered the living section. Rex began to feel upset.

"I have to do this." Rex tried to move closer.

Each step he could not help but to feel the burden of his Demonic Qi.

"If only I had never tested that." Rex looked at his arm.

They came up to the house. Rex felt more nervous now than fighting any army or the Raid Boss.

"Do not worry Rex. I am right here." Olivia said.

Rex felt a nudge and looked down and saw the male dog.

"I truly need to get you appraised." Rex said.

Olivia looked down at the dog.

"We can go later, right now you need to rest." Olivia said.

"Yes." Rex agreed

The two entered the house.

"REX!" Liz shouted.

She wanted to jump and completely smother him with love. Seeing Rex carry a lot of boxes and two half bottles of liquor. She would not want that food wasted.

"LET'S EAT!" Rex shouted.

Iris did not come down. Rex was upset because she was not coming down.

"You leave me no choice." Rex said.

Rex went upstairs and everyone just waited for Rex to return.

Rex slammed his hand on the door.

"Open the door Iris." Rex shouted.

Everyone downstairs felt a sense to go up but waited at the edge of the stairs.

The door still did not open.

Rex focused on a water drop in his fist. The water droplet began to circle around his fist.

Rex then punched the door.

The door remained fine. The lock became unlocked and the water pressure was released.

Rex opened the door and saw Iris had cried herself to sleep.

He went over and woke her up.

"Good morning sleepy head." Rex said.

"I do not want to see you." Iris was still mad.

"I know you don't. I have breakfast downstairs and you will want to come down." Rex finished and left.

Once Rex had left her room, she slowly made her way to the door.

She felt the door and noticed how much water skill was used in destroying her seal.

"How much power does he have?" Iris began to question herself.

She headed downstairs. She did not care that she was only in her shirt and panties. The house was mainly women, Rex, and someone who Rex would kill if he tried anything to any of the women inside the house.

Iris sat down on the couch. Everyone could tell she was still extremely upset about last night.

"Here is your breakfast." Rex handed her a box.

Iris looked at the box and frowned. She would rather have Rex's homemade cooking.

Iris then opened the box. She found nothing but sweets.

"You are not trying to make me fat are you?" Iris shook her head.

Rex laughed. Everyone stared at Rex like he was crazy.

"If I wanted to fatten you up, I would have made many more sweets for you. This is just something I picked up for breakfast." Rex smiled.

Iris smiled. She knew Rex was telling the truth.

"Well, I cannot have all of these can I?" Iris asked.

Rex slowly moved over.

"That box is completely yours Iris." Rex said before getting a kiss from Iris.

"I would rather have you for breakfast." Iris gave a defeated smile.

"Congratulations Rex." Layla cheered.

"What a great way to make up." Olivia smiled then continued, "Once breakfast is over. You are going upstairs and sleeping. You did not sleep last night."

Everyone stared at Rex. They did not know he had not rested.

"I am sorry Rex." Iris had a defeated tone.

"No. I know you were trying to hurt these women. I will not accept their apology. However, I did go overboard and slap you." Rex started his apology before Iris put her finger over his lips.

"I accept." Iris smiled and her cheerful self became the tone for the rest of the day.
